related to the scientific results and recommendations of the pre-treatment used in the project, from traditional (acid, alkaline, steam explosion) to novel (deep eutectic solvents) processes, and taking into account the possibilities to be used in SMEs and rural areas.

Mathematical tools in small biorefineries: artificial neural network models, simulation and optimisation, and LCA. (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

This deliverable includes the scientific results of the mathematical tools used in the project, including artificial neural network of the hydrolysis step, simulation and optimisation of the processing steps by Aspen and Multicriteria Analysis software, and LCA of the proposed business plans using SigmaPro.

This deliverable will be based on the necessities of SMEs and rural and vulnerable areas selected in the project and the possibilities to use the lignocellulosic materials (residuals in the case of rural and vulnerable areas) in the production of fibres, cellulose products and biofuels using the pre-treatments and processing from WP1.

Recommendations about characterisation methods in lignocellulose biomass (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

this deliverable includes all of the lignocellulosic material inventory residues and additives the physicochemical methods recommended for the selected biomass and the scientific results of the fractions analysed in the project from traditional fractions to novel methods HPLC FTIR
