Deliverables
Seven months Research-Creation seminar on Ecological Mutations. The ArTeC Graduate School will offer a seven months seminar in English open to ESRs from partner institutions, wherein researchers in social sciences, artists and designers in digital technologies will build a common theoretical culture and collaborate towards devising creative alternatives to the current (ab)uses of material resources, human resources and data. The seminar will be led by Yves Citton, involving senior researchers, artists and thinkers both internal and external to the ArTeC consortium. Thanks to the resources of the Paragraphe Research Lab, this will include the design of interactive installations helping citizens to test end reflect upon their visions of digital ecology (Up to 10 ESR can be hosted in Paris for the 7 months. Several ER can be hosted for a month to teach in the seminar.).A special issue of the bilingual journal Hybrid (English-French) will be published with the most accomplished outcomes of the seminar Research-Creation in Ecological Mutations

EMNI The Living (opens in new window)The RIF ENMI Annual Research and Innovation Week dedicated to the issue of The Living (M25) will be filmed and stored in IRI’s online archive of digital studies research, where it will also be made available to ERs, ERSs and the broader public for contributory research annotation, in line with IRI’s commitment to developing prototypical innovations in web publishing tools (M1-25). For the last several years, a selection of articles from the annual Entretiens du Nouveau Monde Industriel have been published in IRI’s series with FYP with roughly an 12 month delay (M37).
Workshop Contributory research (opens in new window)At least three workshops (M6, M18, M30) open to the local community to be organized in National Library of the Arts (Guayaquil) and the Cultural Innovation Centre of UArtes (MZ14).A catalogue (online or printed) will be published collecting the results and proceedings of the workshops.
A Toolkit of Contributory Practices for Contributory Research containing practical proposals and local policy initiatives for the creation of experimental smart territories and amateur training/research collaborations that could give rise to ethical smart citizens
(D1.1.4 in the proposal) Rethinking theoretical computer science closing conference (ENMI 2022 Centre Pompidou, Paris) (M29)An international conference organized by IRI and Bernard Stiegler gathering major researchers from mathematics, anthropology, philosophy, psychology,computer science, biology. Best papers presented in this event will be published with Fyp Edition in French and Open Humanities Press in English (M32).
Two day Conference Ethics and Computation (opens in new window)Two-day conference devoted to exploring some of the Ethical Blindspots of Ubiquitous Computation will gather ERs and ESRs from the various partner institutions as well as other speakers. It will be hosted and organized by UPL in the ArTeC Graduate School, and will include a Prospective Workshop on an ecological design approach to the Public Space provided by the Paragraphe Research Lab. The outcomes can be published in the form of a collective book, published by ArTeC/Les Presses du Rel or by the UGA Editions in Grenoble (M40)

Conference of the Commons (opens in new window)Four international exchanges related to four training events organised in UA, TU Dublin, Paris Lumiere, IRI on Collective ecological individuation culminating in a one-day Conference of the commons taking place in Poland and (if possible) in collaboration with and as part of the ILIA conference in Ecuador. Topics will reflect the local diversity of each territory and the ensuing need for cultural specificity in the use and implementation of socially engaged projects and social digital technologies for the smart citizen. The forum discussion will be hosted in an annotation platform (M31)One book or monographic journal issue as proceedings (M42).

Post-Growth Workshop (M26) and Toolkit (M36) The artistic collective DisNovation will host a weeklong workshop devoted to learning, practicing and spreading ecological practices adapting our activities to a post-growth future. It will be conceived and led by digital artists Nicolas Maigret and Maria Roszkowska and will travel to the various partner institutions interested in hosting it. (DisNovation can send two members to the hosting institutions for one month.). A toolkit (with videos, game cards, role play) will be produced by DisNovation, accumulating the new material generated by each workshop.
Contributory research Training (opens in new window)One training event with at least 4 ESRs; at least two peer reviewed open access articles on the ethics impact of socially engaged projects and contributory research.
Document describing how NEST Consortium will manage the research data during the life of the research project and where the data will be deposited so far as to ensure its preservation and reuse. The DMP will be compliant with GDPR. The DMP will state the following:1- Sources of the data. Methodologies of collection, creation and tools.2- Data format (e.g. ASCII, excell, word, open source etc...) and reasons for choosing a particular format and how it will be back up. Keywords: format/ standards and backup.3- How the data will be organised, documented and described.4- Data storage and security5-Data sharing6-Implementation
