During the first reporting period several improvements to both hard- and software were carried out.
A lot of effort was especially put into developing a Cell Test Bench to obtain mathematical models of different battery cells that are used in common electric vehicles. These models are used for the State-of-Health determination of electric cars’ batteries under varying environmental influences.
In order to make the battery test more user-friendly a test app was created and integrated into the AVILOO Battery Data Platform. The app guides the potential customer through the battery test step by step.
Other actions carried out within the interval of the first periodic report were focused on reducing the test duration required for accurately determining the State of Health.
Further advancements were made during the interval of the second and final reporting period.
The necessity to finish the battery test in one continuous discharge was eliminated by introducing the DISTRIBUTED FULL CYCLE, which allows for pauses within conducting the battery test, i.e. the AVILOO b:check.
Furthermore, the predecessor to the b:ckeck quick test, the so called AVILOO FLASH test has been fully developed. The AVILOO FLASH test is not able to calculate the "State-of-Health" of a battery yet, however, it is able to see the current levels of a large variety of battery signals and to identify significant deviations with these signals, and to detect defects of battery cells.
The b:ckeck quick test has also been fully developed, however, although it is completed, at its current state it is applicable to only a limited amount of vehicle models. The necessary broadening of this vehicle coverage is already taking place by the daily process of vehicle-data gathering trough the active commercial use of the AVILOO b:check and AVILOO FLASH test.
The AVILOO products are offered commercially both to the B2B and B2C sectors.
The sales' efforts in the fields of B2B have lead to partnerships with prominent names in the automotive industry, such as:
ÖAMTC (AT)
ARBÖ (AT)
GTÜ (DE)
ADAC (DE)
TÜV SÜD (DE)
TÜV NORD (DE)
BVSK (DE)
Norsk Elbilforening (NO)
Viking Kontroll (NO)
ANWB (NLD)
Automitve Alliance (NLD)
FDM (DNK)
The sales' efforts on the B2C front have lead to more than 1500 b:ckecks being sold only in 2022 so far.
