The Public participation plan will detail which stakeholder groups should be addressed how and when they should be engaged as well as what the expected outcome of these activities will be Considering citizens in such a plan we will define which citizen science activities will be employed to capture their attention towards environmental issues in order to look at such issues through scientific eyes

By the end of the fourth year of the project, this task will include a Blueprint on Environmental Intelligence, based on the collaboration between the five projects funded under the topic of Environmental Intelligence (I-SEED, RAMONES, RESET, WATCHPLANT and SMARTLAGOON).

Description of BMPs and policies and associated scenarios for water pollution control and flood mitigation measures (opens in new window)

The deliverable will map the coupled socioeconomic and environmental dynamics in the Mar Menor identifying potential actions to counteract negative dynamics and draft a conceptual model

The report will outline and detail the strategy for the different communication activities that will be employed during the project based on the different target audiences addressed in this project The communication strategy includes a project website where to find all public information and news about the project social media campaigns creation of blogs launching specific hashtags communications and press releases communication during academic initiatives open days sciences cafes local science fair and Researchers Night events

Prototype of remote in-situ IoT infrastructure with edge capabilities (opens in new window)

This deliverable will describe two different efficient IoT infrastructures that will be deployed at Mar Menor Lagoon and Segura watershed (Spain) by making recourse to edge computing and advanced artificial intelligence techniques.

Complete GOTM-WET model setup for Mar Menor (opens in new window)

This deliverable will demonstrate the complete GOTM-WET model setup for Mar Menor, including a tested coupled watershed - lagoon model for Mar Menor.

This deliverable will define the environmental variables that should be acquired to improve the management of Mar Menor and compare these when measured by both conventional and unconventional means Data will be available from conventional monitoring and laboratory analysis at Erken lake

This deliverable will show a system dynamics (SD) model capturing coupled socio-environmental dynamics in the Mar Menor catchment using Vensim software.
