Project description
A comprehensive framework unlocking bioeconomy’s potential
The bioeconomy and its value chains need to develop new skills, educational methods and organisational solutions to unlock its full potential. The EU-funded BIObec project will develop a comprehensive and flexible framework consisting of multi-level Bio-Based Education Centres to address the present and future needs of the industry and the surrounding ecosystem at local, regional, national and international levels. The project will design six pilots covering a wide geographical area in Europe related to the different topics associated with various value chains and institutional contexts. BIObec will identify the diverse regional needs and deliver tailored design, financial assessment and government plans for educational training centres and lifelong learning programmes.
