Project description
Creating climate knowledge for action
There is a need to transform localised data on possible decarbonisation pathways into knowledge for action in synergy with the European Green Deal policies. The EU-funded LOCALISED project aims to reduce national decarbonisation trajectories to local levels putting it on track to achieve the net-zero target. It will present the results to local authorities, citizens and businesses in a manner that will enable faster uptake of mitigation and adaptation actions. Bringing together a consortium of 12 European organisations, the project will create efficient and comprehensive tools like the Decarbonisation Profiler, offering information in all EU languages, and the Net-Zero Business Consultant tool. These are intended to help local authorities, policymakers, citizens and businesses identify best practices of climate change mitigation and adaptation.
