Deliverables

Comparison between battery (chemical) energy storage and thermal storage for refrigeration systems under African climate conditions (opens in new window)

In order to specify the optimal energy storage under African conditions, a comparison between the two SophiA energy storage systems will be conducted. After analysing the available technologies on the market and the expected performance under the climatic conditions, simulations of the operation of the storages are carried out. The results will contribute to the design of the SophiA systems and are expected to demonstrate the use of ice thermal energy storage as a supporting technology in the energy transition beyond the SophiA project. The simulation will continue in parallel to the field tests in order to improve the simulation model via the field test data obtained in the four different climatic regions. This report will have input from all tasks of WP3.

Life cycle assessment and sustainability assessment (opens in new window)

This report on life cycle assessment and sustainability assessment will present the results of Task 7.1, where the environmental impacts and emissions of the SophiA technologies will be analysed. The report will also include a comparative LCA for SophiA systems.

Upscaling and roadmap for green energy transition in Africa using SophiA technology (opens in new window)

Upscaling and roadmap for green energy transition in Africa using SophiA technology will use the inputs of the analyses in Tasks 7.1-7.5. The roadmap will be a public guide for EC and African governments towards strategic decision making, identifying relevant actors, similar projects, exisiting local roadmaps and tecnological and market drivers and trends. Moreover, it will provide upscaling strategies and recommendations for the use of the SophiA project results post-project.

Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan Review (M24) (opens in new window)

This report present an update (M24) of the Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan to establish how the activities are reaching the targets, if additions or modifications should be implemented, and any updates on the tools used, key messages, dissemination channels, activities planned, timeframe, KPIs, platforms used or any other changes.

Needs assessment in medical care centers in Africa (opens in new window)

This report will include the results of the needs assessment of at least 10 health stations from Africa Burkina Faso Cameroon Malawi and Uganda The report is directly related to Task 11

Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy (opens in new window)

The preliminary Dissemination Communication and Capacity Building Strategy related to Task 81 will establish the Communication Dissemination and Capacity building plan for the project including the set of tools to be used definition of target audiences and key messages and the way these should be distributed by all project partners

Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan Review (M36) (opens in new window)

Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan Review (Update M36) will be an update to the Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan to establish how the activities are reaching the targets, if additions or modifications should be implemented, and any updates on the tools used, key messages, dissemination channels, activities planned, timeframe, KPIs, platforms used or any other changes.

Final Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan (M48) (opens in new window)

Final Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan (M48) will gather the results of all activities in WP8. It will focus on the scope of the activities, if and how the KPIs have been reached, activities done, forms of communication and platforms used, results of the events and number of publications and other communications achieved.

Dissemination, Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan Review (M12) (opens in new window)

This report is an an update to the Dissemination Communication and Capacity Building Strategy Plan It aims to establish how the activities are reaching the targets if additions or modifications should be implemented and any updates on the tools used key messages dissemination channels activities planned timeframe KPIs platforms used or any other changes

Data Management Plan (opens in new window)

Data Management Plan will describe the data management life cycle for the data to be collected processed andor generated by SophiA The DMP will ensure research data is findable accessible interoperable and reusable FAIR including information such as the handling of research data during and after the project how data will be collected processed andor generated the methodology and standards to be used if data will be shared or made open access and how data will be curated and preserved

Data Management Plan (Update M24) (opens in new window)

This report will provide any update needed for the Data Management Plan previously completed for the SophiA project.

Data Management Plan (Update M36) (opens in new window)
