WP2:WP2 was finished in May 2023; however, for D2.5 (test catalogue), updates have been made later and delivered in August 2023.
WP3:Deliverables 3.1 and 3.4 were reworked and resubmitted to address the comments from the first review meeting.
WP4: Digital Twins were developed for Demo Vehicles, Eco-driving Feedback, Thermal System, Energy Consumption, Battery Ageing, Charge Time Estimation and Multi-Level Control System Optimization. Vehicle control systems were designed for adaptive Powertrain ECU, Battery ECU, smart VCU, smart VTM and Eco-Driving Software. Tools for Logistic Planning, Navigation, Fleet Management, Decarbonization strategy were created. Virtual verification startegies at component, vehicle and fleet level were defined.
WP5: The development and validation of the software (both controllers and digital twins) to be used on the final demonstrators and the development and calibration of the newly designed components within the previous WPs is performed. Additionally, system & subsystem level prototyping and deployment for each of the OEM demonstrator vehicles is performed. All relevant components and sub-systems have been verified under laboratory conditions. The different component and subsystem Integration and implementation has been completed for Irizar use case.
WP6: In the first project phase, key use cases and requirements were identified, vehicle and infrastructure specifications were defined, and initial system integrations were performed. Early pilots supported concept validation. Technical progress focused on data integration, smart charging strategies, and preparing large-scale pilot deployments.
WP7: WP7 finalised and delivered D7.1 “Demonstration plan and processes”, which was rejected following the bankruptcy of TEVVA and the missing description of the UK (London) Use Case. We are still waiting DAF-truck to join the project. The Istanbul Use Case was updated with a third route as proposed at PR1 review. Due to the delay of the FORD and IRIZAR prototypes (WP5), the demonstration tasks started late, only T7.3 with the ramp-up of IRIZAR truck started, now demo in Barcelona is planned for 07/2025 and in Istanbul for 11/2025. T7.5 on Data collection started, but D7.2 “Data collection and management plan” was not finalised waiting for DAF-Truck to join the project.
WP8: Pre-demo phase data analysis in collaboration with Task 7.5 in order to verify the methodology in D8.1 and for potential gaps identification. Drafts of market, environmental, and cost impact and policy review with EU best practices are ready (D8.3). An exploitation plan with partner and sector input is set. D8.4 draft includes policy review and assessment as well as best practices from both national government initiatives and logistics company operations in Europe.
