Wetland restoration for the future

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

GIS dataset of past wetland restoration projects across Europe (opens in new window)

Based on the meta-study of D1.5 and the European wetland map of D1.1, EV INBO will inventory past wetland restoration projects across Europe.

Harmonised methodologies to be used in further analyses & data gathering (opens in new window)

The report will harmonise and enhance field methods to be used in further analyses & data gathering

Recommendations for wetland restoration (opens in new window)

Based on a meta-study of restoration measures and approaches in wetlands during the past 40 years in Europe, including citizen science initiatives, we will evaluate restoration success at different scales, identify factors that lead to (un)successful restoration projects and select data of best practice examples. This is input for D6.6
