Report. Development of an up-scaling protocol for accounting of GHG emissions in different peatland types and conditions, based on updated data. This deliverable will feed into the assessment of trade-offs and mitigation potentials and will be communicated to relevant teams within national governments responsible for GHG emissions inventories, providing them with a guide to the integration of Tier 2 emissions factors in their reporting under the Paris Agreement. Stakeholder analysis and impact planning

Report. Stakeholder analyses will be performed in each study catchment, under the input from multi-actor stakeholder advisory groups. This deliverable will summarise the outputs from stakeholder analyses and impact planning, enabling evidence-based evaluation of project impact. Linked to task 6.1.

Open-access database for trade-offs associated with wetland restoration. Understanding trade-offs, framework for analysis/mitigation, and protocols for trade-off assessments that are embraced by data end-users/stakeholders and research partners

An open-access database. Evidence is collected on previous success or failure of minimizing trade-offs. The understanding of the trade-offs and the choice of methods for their mitigation will be enhanced through collaboration with relevant stakeholders and end-users. Linked to task 4.1.

Higher-tier EFs that are both spatially and temporally stratified

Data output. Development of temporally stratified emission factors for wetlands in various emission phases and under different management scenarios, acknowledging inter-annual climatic variability. Linked to task 2.3.
