Data management plan (opens in new window)

A DMP will be established and implemented, that coordinates the collection, generation, evaluation and use of data protocols, SOPs and tools gathered or generated within the project according to the FAIR principles. The DMP will describe how the data, protocols, SOPs and tools will be managed, described, and stored, what standards will be used, and how they will be handled and protected during and after the completion of the project.

Update of methodology development for antibacterial testing (opens in new window)

Using the data generated in T5.3, new methodology will be developed and trialed to ensure reproducibility and usability. The new methodology will build-on established (although only partially developed) models and will be designed with usability in mind and be fit-for-purpose. In particular, the new test methods will account for expected environmental conditions in the intended end-use (temperature, humidity and airflow). Critically, the methodology will be accompanied by a report detailing the research that resulted in the new methodology, with particular reference to how this builds on existing well-established methods.

Gap analysis of and recommendations for the development of antimicrobial test method development (opens in new window)

The task will be to carry out a gap analysis on antimicrobial testing methods with respect to end use scenarios, and use these findings to co-create testing parameters with the end-users that enables the functionality of the coatings to be matched with applications that allows them to deliver maximum benefit.
