CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.
Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .
Deliverables
Thermoelectric/solar system design• Design of the TE system by loop resistance specification and TE system specification• Design of electricity generating part and pump, and stress analysis in relation with WP1Design, production and testing of TESP• Building of a mock-up of the TE system• Implementation of commissioning and performing tests
Grid requirements (opens in new window)List of requirements for the flexible SMR-SFR in view of EU2050 and possible critical scenarios (taking into account different factors: energy policies of EU countries, share of renewable energies, fleet of electrical cars, status of energy storage systems, fusion power plants…)
Data Management Plan (opens in new window)The Data Management Plan will outline the conditions for data preservation, adherence to FAIR principles, publication, and clearly make a distinction between potentially sensitive or confidential information and open access data.
Compilation of computational benchmarks (opens in new window)A compilation of computational benchmarks will be selected by the project experts and adapted specifically for training purposes, focusing on skills and best practices of modelling SFRs. These will include: neutronics core modelling and transient, multi-physics simulation of entire primary system loop.
Evaluation results of core catcher innovation measures (opens in new window)• Characterisation of heat transfer• Proposal of innovative concepts or measures to be tested in subtasks 6.2.2 and 6.2.3.
Project Quality Plan and online workspace (opens in new window)Project Quality Plan
Neural network specification and test condition specification (opens in new window)report on Definition and justification of the choices for the following work on bubble detection (choice of artificial intelligence method and definition of the experimental conditions).
Report on CIBD and ROFEX experiments for gas bubbles in sodium (opens in new window)A CIBD system is to be designed and tested for this case. The CIBD measurements will be compared with the measurements obtained from US and ECFM sensors available at HZDR which, however, provide also no full measurement of the gas bubbles. The ultrafast electron beam X-ray tomography scanner ROFEX has been developed at HZDR. It provides thousands of frames per second and a spatial resolution of less than 1 mm. Here it will be applied to gas bubbles in liquid sodium. By variation of the gas injection parameters, interesting comparisons between the full bubble measurements by ROFEX and the more integral CIBD measurements will be done
ESFR metallic fuel study: safety approach (opens in new window)-PLOF, i.e., primary pumps shutdown with scram- PSBO, i.e., all pumps shutdown with scram- Review of the results
Gender Action Plan (opens in new window)Gender Action Plan defining concrete actions and tools to systematically integrate the gender perspective in all WPs.
ESFR metallic fuel study: fuel and core designs (opens in new window)- Review and update of safety objectives.- Select fuel type and make specification of the material properties including reference models for swelling, creep, fission gas release, etc.- Design new fuel rod, new fuel assembly and new core
Project website will be developed and routinely updated with latest project achievements and announcements of events and other activities.
