Deliverables

Mid-report about case studies (opens in new window)

In the mid-report, preliminary data from the demonstration of the developed methodologies of BIORECER on the 4 case studies and study of replicability/transferability will be collected. As well, the valuable feedback from the case studies from the bio-based value chains of stakeholder’s feedback will be evaluated to feed the tool and to ensure the quality of certification schemes (T6.1)

Final Case studies report (opens in new window)

The results of the applicability of the model in 4 strategic sectors, will be assessed in the final report. The use of the methodology and tool developed by BIORECER, will be evaluated to determine its suitability as a framework for the certification of sustainability, traceability and origin of a wide range of biomasses (T6.1)

Circular indicators (opens in new window)

Report including the description of the methodology/framework for the development/selection of the circularity indicators, the description of the value creation indicators (environmental, social, economic, regulatory, demographic) that will be included in the certification schemes (T2.4).

Mid Report on BIORECER Communication and Dissemination Activities (opens in new window)

Report on BIORECER Communication and Dissemination Activities including newsletters, press releases, social media activities, (stakeholder) workshops, communication campaigns, events and conferences, and OA publication

First Policy brief (opens in new window)

Main biological feedstock flows uptaded (opens in new window)

For each production and consumption process in the IO-tables of D.1, estimates are developed for transfer coefficients to emissions, product outflow to other processes, waste generated, and annualised delayed waste generated from build-up in stocks. Estimates are based on trade statistics, environmental statistics, material flow analyses, knowledge on product lifetimes, and waste statistics (T2.1)

Strategic standardization roadmap (opens in new window)

Starting from the mapping of relevant standards for the project, the roadmap designs the possible scenarios (in terms of standardization) to close gaps and needs identified during the project. The final aim is to codifying innovative project results, so if the conditions are favorable, it may also include the project plan for a CWA – CEN Workshop Agreement, a pre-standardization document published by CEN (T7.4)

Communications and Dissemination Plan (opens in new window)

A communication and dissemination plan gathering different methods to disseminate and communicate project results to various project audiences and stakeholders.(T8.1)

Modified Assessment Methodologies (opens in new window)

This report will contain the investigation of existing environmental impact assessment methodologies in the different applicable biobased sustainability standards. Based on this information, an holistic assessment methodology suitable for their application on biological resource certification schemes (T2.2 and T2.3).

Final Policy brief (opens in new window)

Updated policy briefs (D8.6) including all the lessons learned and developments obtained throughout the project and projections to be taken into account in future scenarios (T8.2)

Integrated environmental and traceability assessment framework into certification schemes (opens in new window)

Guidelines for integration to bio-based certification schemes (opens in new window)
Main biological feedstock flows (opens in new window)

The deliverable will review the currently best available data basis for an environmentally extended input-output table (IO-table) for the meso-level feedstocks targeted. To avoid unnecessary detail, the deliverable will identify the appropriate level of detail in terms of material and environmental indicators and industrial sectors required for the purpose of the project (T2.1)

Complete and approved theoretical Framework for full T&T as the modus operandi of biological feedstock t Labelling demonstrating Reliability, Conformity and Performance. (opens in new window)

A framework for standard registration of events that impacts the tracking and traceability of the material will be agreed with partners, industrial use case leaders and end users. Clear definition of what is the information required for each product, to what extent, frequency and format. This will result into a standard protocol, rules and methods for registering T&T events (T3.1).

Report on the whole development of the BRSP (opens in new window)

This report will describe initial steps undertaken for setting up the stakeholder's platform based on a participatory approach (T4.1 and T4.2).

Biological Feedstock Label reporting on reliability, conformity, performance, and promotion (opens in new window)

The biological feedstock label will be assembled based on the information collected and processed in D3.1 and D3.2. Thus generating a passport that provides the journey of the raw material to final product. This label can be used and customised for promotional purposes (T3.3).

A Database that is able to collect the data acquired from each use case with respect to D3.1. This database will store, interlink and prepare the necessary information on T&T to be displayed through a bespoke web-based application to various stakeholders. This application will also be able to use the corresponding T&T information and compare with that of the information collected from sources that provide information about the Biorecer regulatory targets (for conformity), embedded rules of reliability check of information (reliability), and information from processes such as circularity D2.3 (Performance) (T3.2).
