Overview of translation results
(se abrirá en una nueva ventana)
Language and cultural difference should not be a barrier to usage. In WP3 localisation and internationalisation support are addressed, and projects can receive quality support, infrastructure and tools for localisation– using open standards such as OASISOAXAL (Open Architecture for XML Authoring and Localisation) and in particular XLIFF. This also allows for reuse of translation artefacts at different levels of granularityHowever, that is just the infrastructure side of things. We also need to get concrete translations. Part of the tasks of the WP is to recruit volunteers for translation in local languages and further development. This deliverable gives an overview of the extent to which that has worked.
