Deliverables

Guidelines on common reporting methodology (opens in new window)

The aim of this deliverable is to develop a document with a set of clear guidelines regarding reporting of results within battery research projects which will result in improved communication and clarity. The document is to be based on the reporting methodologies produced by Batteries Europe in 2021. Broader stakeholder consultation will be undertaken via online workshops, firstly within Batteries Europe WGs and to the broader batteries community and also to the international community via work with the editors of popular high quality peer review journals. Close collaboration with the Battery 2030+ initiative will examine the workability of the reporting guidelines in active projects and will modify accordingly.

Overview of international R&D&I Funding and international Benchmarks for KPIs (opens in new window)

Illustration of main activities in building battery innovation systems and contrasting European and international perspectives, based on direct exchange with Governments and relevant international R&D&I actors, as well as mapping of international roadmaps on batteries.

Delivery of the European Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda II (opens in new window)

The aim of these deliverables (2 reiterations) is to create and deliver a concise, clear SRIA document which clearly identifies the key Research and Innovation needs be addressed and KPI which must be met, in order to support the advancement of a competitive, sustainable European battery industry taking in to account the entire battery value chain. The SRIA is to be produced as a collaborative work combining input from each of the WG and TFs with a consolidating approach across all stakeholder groups of Batteries Europe. It is expect the SRIA will be used by European, national and regional stakeholders from public organizations, industry and research providers when developing their research programs and strategy relating to the battery ecosystem.

KPIs Benchmarking & Target KPIs III (opens in new window)

The scope of this deliverable is to define set of KPIs per application (stationary, transport, portable, etc.) to define the SoA baseline and propose target KPIs that could fed the SET Plan progress monitoring process.

Project Management Plan (opens in new window)

The project management plan will describe how the project is executed monitored and controlled including Gantt chart Work Breakdown StructureIt will also include the Batteries Europe Work Plans and Yearly activities reports

R&I Roadmaps & Roadmaps revision II (opens in new window)

The aim of this deliverable is to create and deliver d concise, clear updated/ new Research and Innovation Battery Roadmaps with the purpose to detail new Research and Innovation actions needed with corresponding KPI targets, in all the areas of the battery value chain from raw materials through to application as indicated by the 6 Working Groups.

Batteries Europe Governance Term of References (opens in new window)

A ToR document will be prepared for each Governance Body of the Platform, containing detailed nomination process of each member, their role, organisation, scope and follow-up.

Communication and dissemination report Y2 (opens in new window)

The communication activities reports will present the outcomes and results obtained in terms of communication and dissemination within BEST. Its periodicity also allows for reviews and adaptations of goals and activities if needed. The plan is the outcome of Task 6.1, but will get inputs from all other tasks to maximize the project’s impact.
