Deliverables
This deliverable aims to report on the critical gaps within the standardization schemes of EU standards related indicatively to Energy Performance of Buildings standards, interoperability, data modelling and information exchange standards, and, the strategy to address these gaps by active contributions to existing or new standardization activities. Related task is T6.6.
Policy reform and regulatory recommendations (opens in new window)The main objectives of this deliverable will be: (i) to document policy/regulation-related recommendations and instruments toward policy makers for the creation of a friendly environment for the CHRONICLE adoption and support the transition towards a climate neutral building; (ii) to report on focus areas in the EU building energy efficiency and sustainability policies/regulations and its implementation in pilot countries and define relations to CHRONICLE and; (iii) to identify drivers/enablers to change corporate mindsets from short to long-term sustainability. Related task is T6.6.
Data Management Plan (opens in new window)The deliverable will describe the Data Management Plan (DMP), the actions for data collection and handling, storage, protection (citizen data privacy/security, etc), retention and destruction. The compliance of the aforementioned actions with national and EU legislation will also be included. The deliverable will encapsulate open access to research data. Related task is T1.3
Dissemination & communication plan and activity report (opens in new window)This deliverable will include the CHRONICLE Dissemination and Communication Plan (DCP), the co-design framework building on the Living Labs concept to be followed by the project activities, as well as concrete plans for the establishment and exploitation of synergies with other relevant European and national projects. Activities stemming from the execution of these plans will be reported in subsequent versions of the deliverable. Related tasks are T6.1 – T6.3.
CHRONICLE impact assessment report (opens in new window)This deliverable will report (i) the evaluation methodology that will be used to assess the performance of the CHRONICLE tools / methodological framework and their impact on sustainability, resident comfort and well-being as well as cost-efficiency and; (ii) the impact assessment of the CHRONICLE demonstration activities as an outcome of the application of the aforementioned methodology, indicatively including issues related to: acceptance by the end-users, problems met/solved, technical/functional performance, result evaluation, stakeholder profitability, recommended improvements, etc. Related tasks are T5.2 and T5.6.
CHRONICLE dynamic Level(s) approach for building and LC performance assessment (opens in new window)In this deliverable a unified approach based on multi-criteria analysis will be introduced. The aforementioned approach will combine indicators / methodologies related to: (i) sustainability and reliable Whole Life Carbon (WLC) assessment; (ii) human comfort, wellbeing and social factors and; (iii) lifecycle cost analysis for investment optimization and de-risking. Moreover, a Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) framework will be established. Related tasks are T2.2 – T2.6.

It includes: (i) the recruitment and participation of end users in the CHRONICLE pilot activities; (ii) the small-scale verification of all the CHRONICLE components and; (iii) the pilot roll-out and full-scale demonstration of the CHRONICLE solution. Related tasks are T5.3 – T5.5.
CHRONICLE Business requirements, Use cases & System architecture (opens in new window)The deliverable will report the end-user requirements based on concrete business scenarios and Use Cases (UCs). The architecture, interfaces, functional and non-functional specifications of CHRONICLE components will also be defined. Related task is T2.1.
Pre-validation, demonstration and pilot-roll out activities report – Month 40 (opens in new window)This deliverable will present all the related demonstration and roll-out activities from M31 to M42 (see below). It includes:(i) the recruitment and participation of end users in the CHRONICLE pilot activities; (ii) the small-scale verification of all the CHRONICLE components and; (iii) the pilot roll-out and full-scale demonstration of the CHRONICLE solution. Related tasks are T5.3 – T5.5.This deliverable is the continuation of the deliverable 5.1
CHRONICLE business innovation plan & replication roadmap (opens in new window)This deliverable will report on business models that apply for buildings with Zero Carbon and Net Zero Carbon footprint based on the analysis of the developed stakeholders’ relationships. Based on the acquired feedback (through feedback loops, one-on-one interviews and workshops) from key representatives, a replication roadmap will be presented along with a scaling-up plan where CHRONICLE will contribute to national/EU objectives. Related tasks are T6.4 – T6.5.
This deliverable will describe the CHRONICLE Dynamic Building Logbook, a BIM (Building Information Modeling)-based repository, whose purpose is to store the enhanced building information related to performance, renovation advice, housing quality and other building aspects. Related task is T4.1.
CHRONICLE tool suite for WLC assessment and climate neutral building renovation planning: 1st revision (opens in new window)This deliverable will demonstrate: (i) the application for building renovation planning (Renovation Planner ) and; (ii) the application for Whole Life Carbon (WLC) assessment balancing cost, value and risk. It will report the integrated and (semi)-automated framework for a circular building sector addressing social, sustainability, circularity aspects in all phases of building renovation. Related tasks are T4.3 – T4.4.This deliverable will only include high-level description of the tools and the design/engineering phase of the tools.
CHRONICLE Data Model and Common Data Environment (opens in new window)The purpose of this deliverable will be twofold i.e., (i) to document the building Digital Twin (DT) data model capable to capture all data requirements for the digital representation of buildings, their operations and the information required for building performance assessment and certification and; (ii) to demonstrate the CHRONICLE Common Data Environment (CDE) that collects, manages, collaborates, and shares information with the relevant systems. Enhanced Building Performance Assessment tool and user-friendly UIs (opens in new window)This deliverable will demonstrate the project results related to enhanced building performance assessment via tools for several types of stakeholders as described in T4.2. They will include user interfaces for AECO/FMs, dwellers and ESCOs as well as all the backend functionality necessary to implement the target use and business cases. Related task is T4.2.
