Renewable and flexible fuel power generation technology enabling the multi-sectorial decarbonization with Zero emissions

Project Management Plan 2nd revision (opens in new window)

2nd revision of the project management plan detailing the changes in the general organization of the project management, if any. As in the initial project management plan report it will include a detailed Gantt chart with a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the schedule per task, responsible partner for each subtasks, related deliverables, and dependencies on other tasks. Any change will be explained accordingly.

Fuel cell system specification datasheet and manual (opens in new window)

Specification manual of the modified research fuel cell system indicating the capabilities of the research fuel cell system, the measurable data and the types of testing activities that can be performed based on the control degree over the balance of plant actuators.

Project management plan including a detailed Gantt chart with a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the schedule per task, responsible partner for each subtasks, related deliverables, and dependencies on other tasks.

Fuel cell integration report (opens in new window)

Full definition of the FC stack and BoP components of the FC system as well as a description of the integration process and the measurable/controllable variables during steady-state and transient testing based on both the capabilities of UPV's testing facility and the sensorized fuel cell system.

Technical specifications of the H2 research engine including the definition of the geometry of different parts (piston, crankshaft, valve train…), H2 injection and combustion systems, intake and exhaust ports, coolant and oil circuits and control system.

Report explaining the main findings and experimental results of the testing campaign using air as the comburent. The analysis will include a set of sensitivity studies to understand the energy balance and combustion efficiency under different engine configurations (valve timing, spark timing, air-excess ratio...) adequate for coupled operation with the CMR.

List defining the critical parameters to be measured on each experimental activity to be able to capture the main physical phenomena and energy flows that will be necessary for the system virtual integration and simulation.

Electrochemical performance and stability of the protonic cell under process conditions for testing in WP5 (opens in new window)

Report explaining the characterization of the disc protonic cells produced in order to evaluate the performance of these cells for the hydrogen pumping process.

H2ICE installed and adapted to UPV's test bench (opens in new window)

H2ICE installed in a testbench equipped with a dynamometer, engine instrumentation to measure main operation parameters (speed, torque, fluids mass flow, pressure and temperature at different locations in the gas and liquid circuits -coolant and oil -), NOx emissions and in-cylinder pressure.

Fuel cell system integrated into UPV's test bench (opens in new window)

Research fuel cell system composed by the FC stack and the balance of plant (BoP) and adjusted to match the desired specifications to perform steady-state and transient experimental activities compatible with the CMR technology.

Developed H2ICE research engine (opens in new window)

H2ICE research engine to perform the experimental activities in WP6. The prototype design will have if possible, technology to integrate variable valve timing (VVT), compression ratio, spark timing and different injector locations (port and direct injection).

FC system experimental database (opens in new window)

Database including the results of all the experimental tests performed on steady-state and transient conditions and the testing matrix. The results obtained in the experimental activities during normal CMR operation and to test the performance decay due to CMR failure should be clearly differentiated.

Communication materials (opens in new window)

General communication materials for the ALL-IN Zero communication such as the logo, the templates, the website, a leaflet and a poster to present the project will be designed as well as a short “project teaser” video aiming at raising awareness of the project and its expected outcomes.
