The project completed its first three milestones in the first reporting period, with milestones 4 and 5 achieved in the second period:
- From the successful delivery of all deliverables, the two final milestones have also been achieved, with all second-period deliverables submitted on time.
- With the project now completed, there is a strong sense of success both from the coordinator’s perspective and from partners’ views. The consortium worked effectively to accomplish all objectives.
- Collaboration among partners was key to achieving the project’s milestones, as reflected in productive meetings, high-quality deliverables, and thorough preparation for the final review.
By the end of the project, all 35 deliverables have been submitted within their respective deadlines. In the first reporting period (until m18), 16 deliverables were submitted on time, and in the second period (m19-m30), the remaining 19 have also been delivered as planned.
To conclude this section, as a summary, we would like to show MAX-R in numbers:
- New/enhanced Tools, APIs & others (D4.5): More than 20 new/improved tools, APIs: Fission, The Vault, CopyCat, Porta, RSConnect, OCIO, Depth reprojection, OSManager, Quasar, VPET 2.0 DataHub, AnimHost, InfinitySet, Global Tracking, adaptive XR asset streaming, Capture of performers, Rooms, wgpuEngine, NeSt-VR, CAP2&MCP, MILE’s platform, etc.
- MAX-R pipeline: interoperability demonstrated in 3 relevant use-cases, and 18 scenarios.
- Third party tests (D4.3-4.6): More than 50 external companies / entities have reviewed and tested MAX-R innovations: Bavaria Studios, Production Park, TVE, TF1, Netflix, Samsung, Pixar, Nvidia, Daikin, CISCO, etc. (MAX-R user group)
- Dissemination (D6.5): Website (70 news); Social Media (YouTube, Linkedin); + participation in more than 110 events: CVMP 23-24; NAB 23-24; ISE 25; FMX 24; Steropsia 24; Belgium EU presidency 24, etc.
- Exploitation (D6.6): Exploitation plans for 22 MAX-R innovations.
- Scientific publications (D.6.5): 18 publications (open access).
