Online communities for circularity within plastics, textile and building materials established on the ICN platform (opens in new window)

ICN’s already existing online platform, ICN Solutions, will be used to facilitate structures for implementation of the activity plans in future projects. Task: Establish online communities for circularity within plastics, textile and construction The consortium will establish virtual communities around circularity within plastics, textile and construction on ICN’s platform.

Platform section for research projects established (opens in new window)

A section for research projects will be established on the platform in order to connect startups, SMEs and other innovators with RTO’s on specific research projects.

1 Report stating the concrete challenges in the EU (opens in new window)

The three clusters will throughout the project period scout for concrete challenges in the EU, and potentially beyond, which are relevant to address through future projects. The identified challenges will be described in a document.

1 set of best-practices for municipal needs specification and procurement of innovation (opens in new window)

The best practices from the workshop for public buyers on public procurement of innovation will be compiled in a document

1 Survey developed and disseminated to ICN clusters (opens in new window)

The consortium will develop and disseminate a survey to the ICN clusters and the stakeholders in their respective ecosystems across the EU regarding regional cluster portfolios as well as capacities needs and potentials of the innovation ecosystems in which they are positioned

3 final cross-regional joint action plans, one for each sector (plastics, textiles and construction) (opens in new window)

3 final cross-regional joint action plans are developed, one for each sector (plastics, textiles and construction), through an iterative process involving relevant stakeholders

1 set of recommendations including success criteria (opens in new window)

The consortium will develop a set of recommendations for:   How future projects can contribute to the implementation of the action plans and support smart specialization strategies. For example, through projects which stimulate procurement of innovation and market uptake of solutions for CE in the prioritized sector/value chain.
