Periodic Reporting for period 1 - Simularge (Physics-Informed AI platform for modeling of industrial cyber-physical systems)

Reporting period: 2022-06-01 to 2022-11-30

Simularge innovative deep-tech solution combines physics-Informed AI platform for modelling of industrial cyber-physical systems to optimise the production operations, minimising the use of raw materials, optimising the quality of products, and will help detecting in-time defective raw materials and products.
Within Simularge Women TechEU project we aimed:
- To define features and specifications according to the specific needs of end-users;
- To undertake in-house testing and large-scale demonstrations under real operating conditions and identify the technical maturation activities to be implemented in the next phase of the project.
- To assess existing providers and contents to be directly embedded or further developed in Simularge to comply with the integration process;
- To assess requirements to grant Simularge proper use in the manufacturing sector.
- To Perform a market analysis to identify the EU countries that will mainly be the early adopters of Simularge;
- To map the supply and distribution chain, identifying and choosing upstream suppliers;
- To carry out a full market research study of the market, to assess user needs, demand and market size to ensure a swift market uptake;
- To formulate an exploitation and dissemination plan and to establish an optimal go-to market strategy.
- To carry out a full cost/benefit analysis, considering quality, standards and regulatory issues;
- To evaluate the total investment requirements to bring the product to the market;
- To update our financial projections for a 5-year period.
We have performed the following activities:
- We have tested Simularge with our first test user to create a Digital Twin of a tyre curing process.
- We have evaluated the results from the tests (Technical results and potential improvements to qualify our system).
- We have performed FTO Analysis and list of requirements and competences for Simularge for EU Countries and Smart Manufacturing market.
- We have performed 3 Market Research Reports (Italy, Swiss, and Germany) with a focus on Industry 4.0 and innovation expertise.
- We have achieved all the project objectives declared and beyond, advancing our TRL from 5-6 to 7-8.
- We had workshop with the business coach, Marjaana Karjalainen from Dreamex Consulting (Italy) and training sessions within the WLP.
- We have mapped our target market, customers and competitors
- Identified client needs for doing business, especially for the smart manufacturing market
- Identified key target early adopter customers in Turkey and EU
- Developed a Value Proposition
- Established a marketing & commercialisation strategy to increase the Simularge reputation & visibility in the smart manufacturing market. Started collaborative relationships with key cosmetics sector companies
- Identified and started dialogue with investors in Turkey and Europe
- Constructed the marketing and commercialisation strategy
Typically, after the first stage, customers will ask for a demonstration and verification of Validation of the technical performance of Simularge, Proof of reliability of supply, Understanding of the quality control procedures, and Establishing the necessary economic conditions.
