Superconducting cables for sustainable energy transition

Deliverables

Definition of use cases (opens in new window)

To work with concrete cases, desired functionalities of the superconducting cables to be studied within the project are defined. A set of use cases should be concretised, for different markets, aiming at different types of cables. Task 1.1.

Specifications of protection devices (opens in new window)

The protection architectures defined in D5.1 are translated into requirements on the component involved, circuit breakers and fault current limiters. The deliverable is a list of specifications for the equipment.Task 5.2.

Selection of electrical system architectures (opens in new window)

System architectures are based on necessary protection criteria and levels, and the deliverable presents promising architectures for how to protect the systems. The system architecture defines the systems to be detailed in forthcoming activities in the WP.Task 5.1.
