Deliverables
A detailed benchmarking analysis will identify gaps between IPB and leading EU partners and will serve as basis for a definition of IPB scientific strategy - the main research goals and directions in the field of biophotonics for the next three years (M1).
Final report on visits at FSU (opens in new window)Final document on achievements during educational visits of senior staff, ESR and Phd from IPB to FSU. Includes important parts form mid-term report.
Final report on visits at CNR (opens in new window)Final document on achievements during educational visits of senior staff, ESR and Phd from IPB to CNR. Includes important parts form mid-term report.
Report on recommendations (opens in new window)The IPB Scientific Strategy on biophotonics will define the most promising research directions in the next three years e.g., high-throughput methods for quantum holographic imaging, micro-fabrication, optical responsive materials synthesis.
Mif-term reports on visits at FSU (opens in new window)Report includes short description of lectures, tutoring and practical lessons at FSU. Report on the tutorial on step-by-step development and use of the quantum holographic sensing and application of the quantum imaging setup for biphotonic investigations of bio-samples.
Mid-term Reports on visits at CNR (opens in new window)The achievements during visits of IPB team members to CNR, short for senior members, long for ESR and PhD students, will be documented.
Plan for dissemination and exploitation including communication - update (opens in new window)Plan for all forms of dissemination, exploitation and communications, including any version / update needed, e.g.: for the general project implementation, particular activities targeting the results of the exploratory project and for the period of 4 years after project ends. The deliverable will include all CDE activities, such as: (1) New hands-on experiments for demonstration of basic quantum and nonlinear effects integrated in a new Quantum Laboratory Course for undergraduate and master students at UB, and (2) an exhibition in the Palace of Science, demonstration on classical optical effects for the general public.
Mid-project Data Management Plan updated (opens in new window)Mid project report on dissemination and exploitation, Includes report on finished visits, achievements of educational and technical levels after mid term of the project.
Progress report (opens in new window)The first assessments of the development of project tasks. Qualifies the results and suggests measures for improving work on tasks that are behind the schedule and/or expected results.
Improved methods and techniques at IPB (opens in new window)DEscription of results of practical excises on sources of entangled photon pairs by SPCD method based on non-linear crystals Type II.
Final report on participation at conferences, submitted publications (opens in new window)Final report is on conference presentations of results of joint research of project partners. It reviews status of manuscript based on results of the exploratory project.
Implemented measures and processes to improve strengthen IPB capabilities (opens in new window)Report on implemented measures and processes to improve and strengthen IPB capabilities in management, coordination and administration of R&I research projects.
Project website, designed of project identity (logo, templates), printed promotional materials including brochure. A web-based platform will collect all the training material, presentations, lectures and handbooks created or used for project implementation purposes. This learning platform will be used for future transfer of knowledge from IPB staff to academic staff and students of certain faculties of the university of Belgrade to increase further the capacity and the scientific profile of IPB
Project newsletter (opens in new window)Includes news about project activities. Also news about major achievement's in the world in the project related research fields. The first issue will be at M12.
One measure implemented from the very beginning of the project will be high profile experts visits to IPB, who will give lectures and hands-on advice on general scientific, management, administration, controlling topics relevant for international R&I activities with partners from science and industry. This catalogue of measures will also help to identify training requirements for IPB staff in order to improve their capabilities and performance on the exploratory project.
Data Management Plan (opens in new window)The Plan outlines the ways in which data is collected, generated and/or processed throughout the lifespan of a research project. The plan includes measures that will be taken in order to maximize access and re-use of the data for further purposes and applications.
Overview of evaluation measures (opens in new window)Each specific measures of the catalogue will be evaluated and feedback to these measures will be continuously collected, discussed, and implemented. The success of each measure will be evaluated in a specific workshop by a project evaluation board, that would Project management board and external experts, nominated by the partners during the Kick-Off meeting.
White paper / roadmap on IPB strategy (opens in new window)The whole process, including the benchmarking analysis, risk and potential analysis, market analysis, list of recommendations, overall IPB strategy, catalogue of measures, feedback and evaluation as well as all the determined long-term-processes will be compiled in a central roadmap document
Plans for short- and long-term visits/exchanges between partners. The first plan will be the schedule for for all meetings during three project years. Plan includes order of visits to and from IPB, duration of visits, and status of the researcher (senior, ESR, PhD).
