Supporting the transition towards circular economy in European cities and regions: Development of a replicable model for local circular economy projects

Replication plan for investment model at national and European level (opens in new window)

A plan outlining the replication materials and replication activities that will be carried out in the project. Specifically, it will include details about the planning and development of the guidebook and national and European replication manuals, and additional replication material and activities (e.g., networking activities) at Austrian and European level. The reference task is T3.2. The measures and activities described in the plan will be realized as part of the work in T3.2 and the project's dissemination activities (the guidebooks, manuals and other replication materials will be developed and disseminated to relevant stakeholders) in T4.3, as well as through the support and facilitation measures described in T3.3.

Summary of support and facilitation measures and activities – Mid project (opens in new window)

A report outlining all activities taken in as part of the stakeholder capacity building efforts,monitoring and seizing funding opportunities, the marrketplace activities and all support measures developed and delivered in the project, as well as any obsereved outcomes of the activities. The reference tasks are sub-tasks T3.3.1 and T3.3.3.

Report on a model for initiation and implementation of circular economy projects – Initial version (opens in new window)

This deliverable will report on the initiation of the demonstration of the model, including timing, relevant materials, challenges and solutions and foreseen next steps. This will include the financial, technological, strategical suppport measures and actions provided by InvestCEC to make projects investment ready. The reference tasks are T2.1 and its sub-tasks T2.1.1 through 2.1.5 ,T2.2 and T2.3.

Plan for dissemination and exploitation including communication activities - Initial version (opens in new window)

An objective-oriented plan for dissemination, communication and exploitation of project results, aiming at maximizing the project’s impact. Will be constantly updated during the project. The reference tasks are T4.1, T4.2, T4.3 and T4.4.

Circular economy investments - Financial barriers and potential measures to address them (opens in new window)

Report on the identified financial, investment-related barriers to the transition towards circular economy in cities and regions, and selected measures to ivercome such challenges. The reference task T3.1.

Detailed online platform functional and technical specifications (opens in new window)

A guidebook on the stakeholder platform including specifications, features and technical information that will allow the replication of the platform. The reference task is and T2.2.

Mid-term policy recommendations brief (opens in new window)

Policy recommendation report, outlining InvestCEC's experience-based advise for policy makers to promote the transition towards circular economy at the city/region level. The reference task is sub-task T3.3.2

Model and tools for urban/regional circular economy projects – Version 1 (opens in new window)

The first version of the complete model, including a description of the model and guidelines for the implementation of the different stages, replication materials for each stage (e.g., template for needs defintion for the first stage, template for interested entrepreneurs to describe their offered solution for the second stage, guidelines for preparing business case and business plans for the third stage, gidelines on applying the model's investment program for stage four). The reference tasks are T2.1 and its sub-tasks T2.1.1 through T2.1.5.

Data Management Plan – Initial version (opens in new window)

Description of the type of data generated, collected and/or (re)used, and compliance with FAIR principles. The reference task is T1.4.

Project website (opens in new window)

A constantly updating dedicated website including information on the project and progress, including objectives, work plan, results and resource. The reference task is T4.2.
