Deliverables
"Deliverable 4.4, produced in the form of an Energy Read, will present the results of co-creation activities carried out in Wind Lab #4, designed as a list of principles and actions for harmonised Marine Spatial Planning (MSP). This deliverable will contribute to the outreach of knowledge, principles and recommendations needed for the sustainable development of offshore infrastructures (Task 4.5)."
Holistic impact assessment metrics for on-and offshore wind (opens in new window)This is a toolset with a comprehensive explanation of metrics and needed calculation methods that are relevant to inform wind decision making about systemic and holistic impacts (Task 1.2).
Report and dataset on regional wind value maps assessing techno-economic feasibility of wind energy (opens in new window)This deliverable presents a set of maps showing the techno-economic feasibility for the different wind technologies considered, summarized in a report, and published alongside the underlying dataset (Task 2.4). In addition, the report summarizes the method developed in Task 2.2 and its application in the different focus regions (Task 2.2).
"Regionally tested participatory guidelines for fostering energy citizenship used for offshore wind developments – Energy Read #1" (opens in new window)"This deliverable summarizes the results of co-creation activities carried out in Wind Lab #1 that concentrate on the offshore wind development. It will be produced in a form of an Energy Read that includes novel participatory practices, based on the findings of WP1-3 and aiming at fostering energy citizenship (Task 4.2)."
Tailored practical recommendations for fostering energy citizenship in effective and just wind energy governance, incl. local value creation (opens in new window)This deliverable presents key findings derived from the regional case study and comparative analysis, including interviews, documents reviews and media and policy analysis (Task 3.2) and regional multi-criteria mapping, including interviews and workshops (Task 3.3.) with the aim to produce tailored recommendations for fostering energy citizenship in effective and just wind energy governance. The production of tailored practical recommendations derived from comprehensive analyses of case study and multi-criteria mapping work are key to the success of this deliverable. (Task 3.2 and 3.3)
"Regionally tested participatory guidelines for fostering energy citizenship used for airborne wind developments – Energy Read #3" (opens in new window)"This deliverable will provide insights from co-creation activities performed in Wind Lab #3, which are dedicated to the novel technology of airborne wind energy (AWE). Energy Read that includes participatory practices aimed at fostering energy citizenship for AWE technology (Task 4.4)."
"Co-produced compass for decision-making in wind energy governance – Energy Read #5" (opens in new window)"This deliverable will concentrate on the social and political dimensions of decision-making in wind energy deployment to support regional, effective, and just wind energy governance. Deliverable 4.5 will be produced in a format of an Energy Read and will encompass a problem-solving approach, consisting of different practical strategies and instruments, extracted in co-creation activities performed in Wind Lab #5 (Task 4.6)."
"Co-produced business models and financial mechanisms for community participation in wind energy repowering – Energy Read #2" (opens in new window)"Deliverable 4.2 will present the outcomes of activities carried out in Wind Lab #2. It will be produced in the format of an easy accessible Energy Read, that is fit-for-purpose and details business models and financial mechanisms for community participation in repowering projects (Task 4.3)"
Database of good participatory practices and social innovations in on-and offshore wind energy developments (opens in new window)This deliverable presents the results of the Rapid Evidence Assessment that reviews participatory practices and social innovations in wind energy both on- and offshore to create a database of good participatory practices and social innovation. The production of detailed database of good participatory practices and social innovation is key to the success of this deliverable. (Task 3.1)
Report and dataset of wind farm designs and control strategies to address impacts and examine their trade-offs (opens in new window)This deliverable presents the dataset of wind farm designs and control strategies and a report summarizing it. The report will be targeted at the level of detail and aggregation needed to develop improved energy system model constraints for the scenarios developed in the other tasks of this WP (Task 2.3).
Europe-wide energy system scenarios for wind deployment areas, with higher detail in the focus regions (opens in new window)This deliverable summarizes the scenarios for wind deployment with technological detail and spatial detail in the focus regions. It is in the form of a report that highlights key findings from the modelling work done on these scenarios (Task 2.1).
In this deliverable we contribute an open access database with technical parameters that are relevant for the modelling of impacts of wind energy projects (Task 1.1).
Holistic impact assessments in three European regions plus co-produced fit-for-purpose formats for decision-making for wind energy governance (opens in new window)This deliverable provides the results of calculating and analyzing the metrics developed in D1.2 using the data of D1.1. The type of results (options space, option ranking, metrics table, etc.) will be decided considering their fitness for the purpose of decision making by different actors (Task 1.3).
