Deliverables

Hands-on Course on Integrative Structural Biology (opens in new window)

Annual hands-on courses in Integrative Structural Biology at UCIBIO that will incorporate cryo-EM practices, methodology and research. (Scheduling foreseen: 33, 45,58)

NOVA Summer Schools and Conferences on “Cryo Electron Microscopy Advances” (opens in new window)

Summer School will be organized yearly to train graduate students and postdocs in cryo-EM fundaments and techniques. (Foreseen deadlines: 33, 45, 58)NOVA will hold two international conferences with leaders in cryo-EM research and methodology

Benefits and use of findings of the ERA Chair group communicated to wider society (opens in new window)

Social outreach strategy implemented throughout the project's duration, specifically geared towards communicating key findings and CryoEM activities to general audiences. Specific events will be targeted (e.g. Pint of Science and others) to gather awareness and boost engagement with stakeholders.(Foreseen scheduling of events and updates: 24, 36, 48, 60)

CryoEMatNOVA website, Newsletter and Social Media Channels (opens in new window)

The CryoEM@NOVA website will foster communication among the project members and will promote public awareness for key project activities and key results. It will act as a live scheduler, to identify and incorporate relevant communication and dissemination opportunities. The CryoEM@NOVA online newsletter, to be distributed by email every 6 months, featuring relevant stories related with the field, together with major project outcomes, milestones and activities for that given period. (Foreseen scheduling: 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60)Social media engagement and a social media strategy to be incorporated as part of the Dissemination Plan, identifying relevant SM channels where the project will be active and engaging regularly with stakeholders.

Cryo-EM service for internal and external users provided (opens in new window)

Access to outside users will be provided, through collaborations and services. The CryoEM-PT node at NOVA will define user fees (distinct for NOVA, public and private institutions) for sample preparation and shipping and data analysis, including consumables costs.

Data Management Plan (opens in new window)

The Data Management Plan (DMP) will support the research data life cycle management for all data that will be collected, processed, or generated by the project

Plan for dissemination and exploitation including communication activities (opens in new window)

The Plan for Dissemination and Exploitation will be developed early on in the project, to incorporate and map out the project's approach to dissemination and exploitation of results, as well as communication activities across the projects' duration. An updated version of the Plan will be delivered before the end of the project, by month 60.
