Guidelines for the development of the Think Tanks and Soil Network of Knowledge Strategy

This deliverable will include a detailed plan for the implementation and development (through time) of the different Think Tanks. When (and if) relevant, this plan will also include differentiated strategies for particular Think Tanks that, because of the topic or target group, require specific measures. This deliverable will also focus on establishing a plan for the engagement and buildup of the Soil Network of Knowledge including a plan to engage with the main target groups and how this should be coordinated across WP and activities.

Version 2 (updated) of the Plan for Exploitation and Dissemination of Results with a specific focus on the dissemination activities and how they are meeting the proposed targets.

Summary of the typology and regional differentiation of key drivers of soil health across sectors

Summary of the typology and regional differentiation of key drivers of soil health across sectors. This summary will be based on the Milestone reports for the typology and regional differentiation of key drivers of soil health for agriculture (MS4), forests (MS5), Urban areas (MS6) and other natural areas (MS7).

Plan for Exploitation and Dissemination of Results 1

Plan for Exploitation and Dissemination of Results including a communication plan with the main communication messages, tools, channels and approaches to communicate on SOLO and its results in the most efficient manner to specific target audiences

Basis for the implementation of an Operational framework and minimum set of KPIs to monitor the Mission R&D activities

D5.1 will describe the basic elements and pathways for the implementation of an Operational framework and KPIs to monitor the Soil Mission R&I priorities. This will also include the identification of a minimum set of R&I KPIs that can be tracked from early on.

Integration, synergies and trade-offs across roadmaps and Mission objectives

This deliverable will include an analysis of the main synergies and trade-offs, including summary tables that allow their identification. It will also include a description of key strategies to overcome potential overlaps and implementation bottlenecks and a timeline for action, including expected outputs and outcomes.

Soil Mission Research & Innovation Roadmaps: a synthesis across Mission objectives

This Deliverable will include a synthesis of the roadmaps prepared by each Think Tank and include an overview of major recent and ongoing R&I projects and their results in relation to the specific mission objectives. The overview will consider projects funded by the EU, as well as, where possible, at the level of Member States and Associated Countries. Major international initiatives will also be taken into account.

Soil Mission Research & Innovation Roadmaps: significant updates and lessons learned

This Deliverable will include an updated synthesis of the roadmaps prepared by each Think Tank and the evaluation on their functioning and their main drawbacks (input from Milestone 11). The Deliverable will also include a synthesis of the main lessons learned and the main measures to improve the outputs of the Think Tanks in the second half of the project.
