The project methodology is structured in different thematic areas including current situation and main problems of the Danube River basin (DRB), Demonstration Pilot Site analyses, analysis and transfer of knowledge in WP1. It aimed research the nine demonstration sites, each representing distinct locations and environmental challenges within the basin. These sites are strategically clustered into five key categories: Flood Plains, Spring Areas in Basin Subcatchments, Fish Passes, Sediment Transport Zones. To comprehensively study these diverse environments, we employ a hydrological model that represents various processes occurring at the pilot sites. WFD RBMPs maps for Danube catchment including subunits, Danube River catchment, DPS information on DALIA KMS have been published.Best practice replication in WP2 improved the DALIA tool: Database of associated regions and tools for analysis will be used for assessment of associated regions and their relevance for concrete transfer. Develop a methodology for socio-economic, environmental, and water conditions assessment of regions in the Danube river basin and provide analysis of regions. Furthermore WP2 performed the launch/publication of the project open call, which addresses the project different DPS replication solutions offered in order to engage most promising third parties’ propositions to pursue DALIA goals. Open Call have been officially published at 18th of July 2024. Socio-economic transition in WP3 Multi-actor process and validation framework have been done. The document provides an introduction to the nine DALIA demonstrator sites, describes the multi-actor process, and establishes a multi-aspect validation framework (scientific validation, climate modelling and systems validation, stakeholder engagement, business models and scenarios). Finally, the deliverable provides an initial impact analysis for the framework. Furthermore the Regional Expert Boards document defines the scope and mission of the expert boards, the method to set-up the boards, and the criteria for involving experts, also defines the operational model for the expert boards. Finally as preliminary actions for the development of sustainable validation and business model (to be submitted in M48), including the compilation of groups of regional stakeholders to be invited to participate in the validation process, drafting of preliminary profiles of demonstrators for future development of pitch decks, analysis of targeted economic sectors. In WP4, we have identified a series of projects with which we will be able to collaborate and, through the exchange of information and solutions, contribute to the achievement of Horizon's objectives. Restore4Life - Restoration of wetland complexes as life supporting systems in the Danube Basin: EcoDaLLi, DaWetRest, Danube4All, EcoAdvance, Sundanse , EUROLakes , FERRO. The other links with the various other projects are starting to be implemented: Climate Picnic program, COST Action CA22122 RethinkBlue, BlueMissionAA, Danube Water Balance. WP5 of DALIA runs across the entire duration of the project. Ensure the DALIA results reach the relevant stakeholders and enable potential future exploitation of the DALIA results. Provide the proposed dissemination and communication activities and ensure the DALIA's findings are widely communicated to the scientific community and the general public. Attract business partners and potential stakeholders and to create market demand. Deliver policy recommendations to relevant Mission- related bodies, initiatives EU bodies Ensure clustering and coordination with other related EU/National DALIA’s and initiatives. WP6 We have successfully completed the launch of the project by effectively performing the all the obligatory project event like kick off, partner meeting with study trips management and coordination as well.
