Deliverables
Addressing the data gap issue in EU and non-EU countries, the project will collect data and create a data repository with visual infographic outputs (complying with all ethical and data sharing guidelines).
Two EC Policy briefs (Month 15, 36). The first EC policy brief will cover the initial findings, especially generated through the research conducted in WP2, WP3 and WP4. The second, final policy brief will include all final policy-relevant findings of the project, generated through all work packages, WP2-WP9.
Working papers on (i) irregularisation; ii) EU’s externalisation of return policies (opens in new window)Two separate working papers will be written on (i) the externalisation of the EU’s return policies to the associated members, based on the cases of the EU-Turkey statement and EU-Eastern Europe partnerships by UW and SRII, and (ii) irregularisation through legislation and procedures with an emphasis on Greece by EKKE.
Framework paper on the concepts and typologies on returns , combined with four conceptual notes (opens in new window)A framework paper discussing ways in which concepts may play a role in decentring traditional understandings of returns and governance. This paper will be merged with the conceptual notes developed in Task 1.1
Comparative report, on legal infrastructures, including country dossiers (opens in new window)Based on synthesising the assessment of the EU’s legal infrastructure with country cases (Tasks 2.1a and 2.3), a comparative report will be prepared by UU, RU, and SRII. Country dossiers (Task 2.3) will be merged to the comparative report as subsections.
