Outputs briefings (opens in new window)Report published on the project website at month 6 that will disseminate the project’s advancements enlarging the targeted audience (local-lead users and regional public policy makers).
Report on document analysis (opens in new window)"Final version of the document analysis that takes stock of 40 years of available data concerning the various kinds of inequalities in Europe (and beyond). The document analysis takes stock of available data on participation in elections; membership of and participation in voluntary associations; use of popular referenda and citizens’ participation; trust in political parties/movements and other political institutions of democracy; participation in online political consultations; trust in the rule of law, etc.. In addition qualitative information (e.g. descriptions of participation practices and processes) is captured by this Deliverable. A specific focus is devoted to gathering information on ""bottom-up"" initiatives for promoting citizen’s involvement in the management of social services; the design of urban regeneration; and the management of natural hazards in the context of the climate crisis."
Stakeholders’ database (opens in new window)Report of a detailed stakeholder database and multi-stakeholder engagement grouping (setting, objectives, methods, obstacles). The database will be updated annually and based on local stakeholders round tables, Fairville Labs activties/workshop, multi-actors meetings.
Critical review of the literature, and relevant bibliography (opens in new window)The report aims at clarifying the theoretical debates around the key concepts of the project (participation, democracy and inequality). It will also build on diverse sources including (1) academic debates in scholarly journals, (2) grey literature covering the work of CSOs in the national contexts where research partners are operating, and (3) the case studies selected for this research.
