The current TRL is 6 (this tool has been developed for crowdsourcing community reforestation) and it will be improved to TRL 8-9. The outcome of this development will be a digital platform to facilitate the crowdsourcing of funds for art installations and building maintenance.
DesignYourHeritage tool (opens in new window)This deliverable is the result of the implementation of Task 3.2.4 and consists of the DesignYourHeritage tool designed and developed according to the information gathered in WP2. The DesignYourHeritage tool will include a tridimensional representation of the Heritact pilots, a set of performance indicators, and a 3D catalog of NEB solutions.
Projection mapping on kinetic surfaces development (opens in new window)Solution that will project different experiences on live surfaces, depending on the specific user profile.
AR enriched human-place interaction development (opens in new window)Description of a portfolio of different solutions to enrich the experience and the relation of each user with a specific physical space.
HERIcraft (opens in new window)(1) A digital platform for gamified co-design of interventions for urban regeneration through heritage activation using 3D datasets that is suitable for all ages. (2) A framework for a series of collaborative design workshops using the platform.

ParticiMap tool (opens in new window)A digital participatory mapping tool that crowd-sources spatially distributed information; accommodates multimedia data uploads; and provides social media features. The tool will facilitate localisation in the 3 case studies.
NegoDesign tool (opens in new window)A digital open source tool that can engage multiple stakeholders in co-creating and negotiating design solutions for complex, multi-system, spatially defined challenges and opportunities for heritage activation.
HERITACT’s visual identity, website, and social media (opens in new window)Creation of online presence through the website and social media channels. The report will include the visual identity as well as all communication templates for the website, social media account, deliverable templates, and others.
Virtual exhibition archive development (opens in new window)This deliverable will be the Task 5.2.7 result, and will include (as per Task description, the Workshop concept, the description of the participatory process, and the description of the AR application.
Usersence tool (opens in new window)A set of methods and tools will be developed for evaluating user experience in interactive installations and public spaces through biosensors and video capture devices. Various sensors including wearables, configurable biosignal kits, brain computer interfaces and cameras will be utilized to collect objective data about the users’ psycho-physiological state and will be processed through dedicated software solutions to assess critical aspects of their experience.
Community based system dynamics models (opens in new window)This report will provide a system dynamics- based framework to examine different scenarios simulations and support decision making capturing the effects of system change in circularity and sustainability, following the CE transition.
SustainTAG tool (opens in new window)The SustainTAG tool is currently at TRL 6 and it will be developed to TRL 7-8 . The outcome of this development will be a digital platform that can be used to assess actions (projects and strategies) against best practice is sustainable development (the SDGs) and aligning the assessment outputs to the NEB and Green Deal objectives. This tool can be used to assess existing actions or help inform the objectives of future actions.
This deliverable will develop an urban sustainability assessment framework which will incorporate NEB context relevant urban indicators and methods for ranking their importance based on local priorities.
Data Management Plan (opens in new window)A report which outlines how HERITACT data will be handled both during the lifespan of the project and after, covering all aspects of data management, from metadata generation and data preservation, as well as any claims to intellectual property rights.
Ethical Compliance Report v1.0 (opens in new window)This deliverable will provide an interim (M18) assessment of compliance with the ethical requirements captured under D8.1 and D1.3.
Solutions assessment and Validation Report (opens in new window)This report assesses HERITACT practices and solutions across pilots through a set of ex-ante and ex-post evaluations by identifying improvements, analyzing impacts upon the data collected in WP6, and evaluating the scale-up potential.
Ethical Compliance report v2.0 (opens in new window)This deliverable will provide the final assessment of compliance with the ethical requirements captured under D1.5.
Contextual classification of the digital tools (opens in new window)This deliverable will work as a process roadmap that will enable the assignment of the HERITACT tools to stakeholders and conditions in order to reach SDG and NEB goals.
Policy Brief (opens in new window)The Policy Brief will be based on the HERITACT projects findings and standing in line with several previously completed ENCC manifestos and policy papers. It would be considering EU second-tier cities or regional second-tier cities and focusing on the role of heritage in achieving the principles of NEB, territorial development, challenges, and opportunities given by the non-urban areas, and demographic changes - to draw suggestions on how global societies, whether urban or rural, central or peripheral, can reinvent current modes of economic, social and political functioning and ensure a sustainable future.
HERITHUB specifications report (opens in new window)A report that will address in detail physical requirements, such as proximity to other structures and functionalities of a Heritub will be developed. The specifications report will provide guidance for the creation of a Heritub able to support various participative activities and connect to the wider HERITACT network.
User experiences analysis, monitoring and evaluation (opens in new window)Please deliverable concerns and monitoring and understanding the experience of users who will be participating in the different actions and outputs of HERITACT. this will be undertaken by adopting quantitative analytical methods to provide feedback about how users perceived experience.
Report on networking activities (opens in new window)This deliverable will report the networking activities undertaken by the ENCC during the project implementation. The report, realised in English in electronic format, will be ready at the end of the project.
Accessibility, usability and inclusiveness requirements (opens in new window)Requirements will be gathered from studying the characteristics of the 3 pilots; by researching what needs are already being accommodated and assessing and specifying what can be done for those that are not. The requirements will be especially focusing on communication needs, although the accessibility of venues will be of course considered. In addition, requirements will inform participative co-design methods and tools used in the project so that these are also accessible and usable by the widest range of users.
Heritage as an integral dimension of NEB and Green Deal (opens in new window)A framework for heritage activation that integrates European Green Deal and NEB principles. To include strategies for community participation. The framework and strategies will form the basis for initial roadmaps for each case study.
Impact assessment and Validation Handbook (opens in new window)This deliverable will develop an impact assessment and validation framework that will provide a list of representative indicators and processes to monitor the project intervention success during the demonstration activities and impact thereafter.
Co-envision experiences report (opens in new window)Following the co-recognition 'storytelling workshop' and co-envision events of 'Idea's workshop' and 'digital negotiation workshop' a report will be produced to record the outcome of these events and any learning that arose. This report will also act as guidance for the subsequent co-implementation phase.
Pilot sites specifications (opens in new window)Analysis oriented to have a clear overview of pilot sites environmental conditions and local peculiarities. The scope is to guide project choices in especially in the choice of greeneries and in the environmental comfort output at the scale of the installation.
Communication and Dissemination Impact Report (opens in new window)Report on the outputs, outcomes and impact of the overall communication and dissemination effort, tackling indicators such as outreach, interaction, among several other lessons learned.
HERITACT Community led design framework (opens in new window)The community led design framework that will be developed for the HERITACT project we'll aim to provide guidance and know how to both online and physical co-creation processes. the framework is flexible enough to be able to support and complement different interdisciplinary teams and communities with different needs.
Co-recognition insights report (opens in new window)A report which includes methodologies followed with citizens to acknowledge local social issues, such as interviews, questionnaires, crowdsourcing, bodystorming, and their respective results, aiming to provide researchers and scientists with input and insights, towards which innovative methods and technologies could be implemented as solutions to those issues.
Guidelines for NEB principles adoption through heritage (opens in new window)This deliverable focuses on developing practical guidelines to support the integration of New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles into heritage-led practices. The guidelines aim to help heritage professionals, policymakers, and local communities apply NEB values in the preservation, reuse, and activation of cultural heritage sites. Drawing from case studies, stakeholder input, and interdisciplinary research, the guidelines will offer adaptable strategies and concrete examples to inspire and facilitate NEB-aligned heritage actions across Europe.

This deliverable is the result of the implementation of Task 5.2.3 and consists of two modular pieces of furniture (one for Milan pilot and one for Eleusis pilot) co-designed and co-implemented with the local stakeholders. A report with the instructions for assembling and disassembling the solutions and technical drawings of the solutions will also be part of this deliverable.
Virtual exhibition archive implementation (opens in new window)A geometric concept of a modular space designed to function as a basic exhibition space, that might be housed at the small-scale pavilion, and, at the same time, as a virtual archive of artifacts, will be developed. Mobile AR applications that will allow visitors using their own cameras to interact with the displayed items via an attached QR Code, and to experience the virtual archive, will be developed.
Temporary structures from recycled material (opens in new window)This deliverable is the result of the implementation of Task 5.2.5 and consists of two physical installations (one for Eleusis pilot and one for Ballina pilot) fabricated using organic waste materials collected by the local stakeholders. A report with materials’ recipes and with instructions for the fabrication of samples will also be part of this deliverable.

Small scale pavilion structure (opens in new window)A small-scale lightweight deployable and portable pavilion structure that will be based on an innovative spatial and structural concept to be explored and developed during workshops will be constructed. Reusable or biodegradable construction material may be used. The structure will be assembled on site and may be moved to several locations. Digital fabrication methods may be also used. The pavilion structure may be combined with the Virtual exhibition-archive and the green wall structure.
Ballina activation events (opens in new window)The events to be hosted and their output is as follows:1.A series of 'storytelling workshops' with stakeholders of the buildings to understand constraints and opportunities.2.An 'Idea's workshop' with stakeholders to explore how the buildings can be used, maintained, and reactivated.3.A 'digital negotiation' workshop to create a dialogue between the stakeholders with the aim of finding solutions for how the ideas might be implemented.4.A 'Tree planting festival' to implement nature-based solutions on-site and create engagement with the local community.5.The installation of an art piece on the grounds or in the buildings to engage the local community about the past and future of the site.6.Use the buildings as an event space to link local festivals to the site.
Digitally fabricated vegetable garden (opens in new window)This deliverable is the result of the implementation of Task 5.2.4 and consists of two digitally fabricated vegetable gardens (one for Milan pilot and one for Ballina pilot) co-designed and co-implemented with the local stakeholders. A report with the instructions for assembling and disassembling the solutions together with technical drawings of the solutions will also be part of this deliverable.
Milan activation events (opens in new window)Ideation, organization and implementation of co-design and co-construction events in the urban “cascinas” in Milan to realize the selected HERITACT solutions.
Green tensegrity installation (opens in new window)This installation will combine green elements (rampants, bushes, bomboo etc) with the tensegrity system developed by professor K. Liapi. The installation will improve the environmental comfort of the site end constitutes an on-field didactic opportunity about the application ok Nature-based solutions in public space.
Projection mapping on kinetic surfaces implementation (opens in new window)Kinetic surfaces that consist of mechanical parts will be designed, constructed and used as transforming canvases for projection mapping interactive installations. Various kinetic wall design methods will be explored in a workshop context. A projection mapping application, the theme of which will be inspired by the cultural-historical heritage and visions of the community, will be developed. An AR application that permits the integration of the visitors’ images will be also developed. Sensors and live video feedback will be used as input for the motion and the projection mapping visuals.
Reactivation of open spaces and buildings through NBS (opens in new window)Implementation of small-scale nature-based solutions in the open spaces of the pilot sites to offer a comprehensive enhancement of open public spaces. Such NBS will be proposed to stakeholders involved in the co-creation process from a selection tailored on sites characteristics and project objectives, thus co-implemented with local communities in dedicated building workshops.
