D1.1. Literature review and research paper on measuring trust: the paper will provide an up to date survey of literature and a comprehensive overview of existing in Social Sciences and Psychology approaches to measuring trust, including social and political trust.

D11.2. Project newsletter and subsequent updates - information update for project members and subscribers, members of advisory boards, followers. The newsletter will be distributed via MailChimp with the free subscription open to all interested persons and organizations. The newsletter will be sent out on the quarterly basis; special issues might be created and distributed on the ad-hoc basis.

D11.1. Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation Plan will list all project communication and dissemination activities and events, their timing, format and location. Disseminations tools and their management to be outlined in the dissemination plan include online (website, social media) and onsite communication activities (meetings with academia, policymakers, CSO leaders); electronic (e-newsletter, infographics) and printed promotion materials (brochure, flyer); plan for TRUEDEM own dissemination events, including policy-drafting workshops, findings presentation at high-level EU conferences and participation in external dissemination opportunities. The plan, first delivered in month 3, will be updated on the quarterly basis.

Methodological paper on trust data harmonization (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D1.2. Methodological paper on trust data harmonization: methodological paper will discuss existing techniques to harmonize data on trust. With the data originating from various sources, collected using different measures and indicators, before the data can be employed in a comparative analysis, harmonization is required. Procedure of harmonization is highly valuable in Social Sciences as it allows to expand the existing data-bases, allowing to combine different types of data-sets.

D5.1. Methodological framework paper: methodological framework paper will elaborate the theoretical and methodological approach to the analysis of identities and polarization as well as the state of the art and scope of relevant issues to be addressed. Delivered in month 9.

Ethics Plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D12.3. Project Ethics Plan comprises a set of provisions, procedures and requirements aimed to ensure that all research, disseminating and policy-related activities carried out within the TRUEDEM research plan do comply with ethical principles and relevant national, EU and international legislation, including the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the European Convention on Human Rights and its Supplementary Protocols. Particular focus will be made on meeting the principles of proportionality, the right to privacy, the right to the protection of personal data, the right to the physical and mental integrity of a person, the right to non-discrimination and the need to ensure highlevels of human health protection. Project ethics plan shall concern both consortium participants themselves, project participants (experts and general public) involved as informants, and stakeholders who participate as users of the project outputs.

Database “Long-term trends of political polarization” (1990-2022) (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D5.2. Electronic database: electronic database comprising a broad scope of quantitative indicators for the comprehensive assessment of political polarization across the EU member-states for 1990-2022. The database will be made available in free public access via the project website as well for downloading in SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, csv formats. Delivered in month 10; regularly updated till the end of the project and after that.

D2.1. Voter turnout in Europe (1990-2022): longitudinal cross-country quantitative database featuring official data of the European and national election results for EU member states. Distributed through the project website in free access, including for downloading in SPSS, Stata, SAS, R, and csv formats.

Electronic database “Long-term trends of political trust dynamics” (1980-2022) (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D1.3. Electronic database “Long-term trends of political trust dynamics” (1980-2022): a dataset of quantitative indicators of political trust in Europe from 1980s to the present time. The dataset, first procured in month 12 and updated through the course of the project, will be freely available through the project website. The data-set will be available as a web resource, but also for downloading in SPSS, Stata, SAS, R, and csv.

Set of infographics on European and National elections (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D2.2. Set of infographics on European and National elections: data on the mid- to long-term trends in voters’ turnout transformed into a set of infographic materials produced in different European languages and prepared for all EU member-states. The infographics will be distributed as a part of project dissemination effort in workshops and conferences.

Data Management Plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D12.2. Data Management Plan (DMP) comprises a set of special procedures to collect, process and manage data tailed to the TRUEDEM research objectives and tasks and developed in strict accordance with the respective EU and national laws and ethical requirements. The plan will cover procedures involving analysis of secondary survey data and collection of primary human data that may involve sensitive personal data. The DMP will apply to all researchers of the TRUEDEM consortium. The plan for data-handling will include aspects such as: (1) data safety procedures which are compliant with privacy by de-sign and protection of confidentiality (including GDPR); (2) procedures for quantitative and qualitative data collection, storage, protection, retention, transfer if any, destruction or reuse; (3) metadata documentation, expected schedule for data access, data limitations for secondary use, data repository/sharing/archiving; (4) procedures related to the data employed for secondary data analysis; (5) choice of data, sharing and ownership of data, choice of software; (6) use of methods when observing participants; (7) roles and responsibilities of project staff in the management and retention of data.

Printed dissemination materials (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

D11.3. Printed materials - leaflets, posters, roll up banners as well as printed editions of project analytical and scientific deliverables (infographics, policy briefs, educational materials, special issues). Exact schedule of production of the printed information and dissemination materials will be outlined in the dissemination plan. The ICSR-AT will be responsible for the production of such materials in English while all project participants will be encouraged to produce translations in their national languages.
