Deliverables
This proposal will present the results of WP2’s - analysis of expert interviews in selected countries in Asia and the EU. It will be submitted to an international peer-reviewed journal in migration studies
Training curricula for early career researchers (opens in new window)Publication of the training curicula developed as part of both a training session on the data-gathering and analysis software used for the shared network and content analyses, as well as an Innovation Lab for civil society actors from Asia and Europe geared towards developing new and updated tools to accompany aspiring third-country economic migrants.
Submission of a special issue proposal on WP4 (opens in new window)This deliverable will present the main findings of WP4 stemming from the data collected and the outputs available (video diaries, focus group discussions, policy briefs) through the submission of a special issue focused on WP4 findings accepted by an editor
EU and country reports on mobility policies (opens in new window)It will produce and publish an EU mobility policies report (in collaboration with a Brussels-based Think Tank organisation) concerning the following matters: labour migration, tourism, family reunification, student migration, investment migration and the EU’s freedom of movement. It will also produce six MS country reports on mobility frameworks and five country reports on socio-legal framework of human spatial mobility across the five Asian countries involved in the project. The results of the country-specific analysis will be both separately and comparatively assessed to determine whether the same set of policies at the EU level apply, and whether these policies have the same impact across different national and local contexts, notably against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and more recently the Russia-Ukraine war.
Advocacy report (opens in new window)This report will be published on the project’s web platform and on its consortium members’ respective websites. It will be sent to the European Commission and will be shared with the research team members of other funded Horizon projects on the decision-making processes of (aspiring) migrants.
Submission of a special issue proposal on WP3 (opens in new window)This deliverable will present the main findings of WP3 stemming from the data collected from aspiring migrants’ interviews. It will be submitted to an international peer-reviewed journal in migration studies
Report on the dissemination of policy briefs (opens in new window)This report will draw from topical policy briefs of AspirE's consortium members. It will offer policymakers exploitable research-based insights. It will unveil the place of migrants in EU policies concerning human spatial mobility, the way these policies affect aspiring migrants' decision-making and the general challenges they pose on European (im)mobility regulations.
This deliverable will involve a series of at least three podcasts on the decision-making of aspiring (re)migrants on its website. These podcasts will feature interviews with AspirE’s researchers, who will explain their respective fieldwork and research results in different countries.
