HERCCULES: HEROES IN SOUTHERN EUROPE TO DECARBONIZE INDUSTRY WITH CCUS

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Detailed regional profiles (opens in new window)

This deliverable will draft community profiles for the regions under study. It offers in-depth contextual information about regional politics, social institutions, local organizations and stakeholders.

Analysis of policy alignment including country case studies (opens in new window)

The deliverable will describe the international and national CCUS regulations influencing the implementation of CCUS cluster in targeted regions, as well as the regulatory situation and the political strategies for implementing integrated-chain CCUS at European, national and regional level. The first draft will be released in M12; the final version in M58. Related to task 8.1

Dissemination and communication package –RP1 (opens in new window)

Report that details the dissemination and communication activities that will be carried out within HERCCULES project. Il will contain information on all RP1 activities: 1) promotional material; 2) snapshot describing the main sections of the project website; 3) reference regarding the social media used, and any radio and TV broadcasts; 4) text of all the press releases published and the press conferences organized and related press review; 5) text and addressee of policy briefs; 6) the agenda of the attended events external to the project and the presentations given, incl. open science events; 7) the agenda, presentations, and customer satisfaction questionnaires regarding project events; 8) references to publications produced; 9) contents of the e-newsletter; 10) information on knowledge sharing/liaison activities; 11) report on activities in schools. Related tasks: T10.3 and T10.4

Preliminary analysis and selection of the zeolite materials to be tested (opens in new window)

In this deliverable, the screening of the potential zeolites to be used in the mineralization plant will be presented. Both natural and synthetic zeolites will be characterized by in terms of CO2 uptake capacity and will be benchmarked against the reference synthetic zeolite. Related to task 4.2.

Community Acceptance: Findings from first regional survey (opens in new window)

This deliverable reports the results of the first regional survey that assesses perceptions and societal readiness toward CO2-capture and storage technology in the general public of the regions under study.Related to T8.3

Preliminary CFD-based simulations to support oxyfuel calciner design (opens in new window)

The results of the CFD simulation of the entrained flow calciner will be presented in this deliverable. The results will provide useful inputs (fluid-dynamic effects associated to the combustion and to gas-solid interaction) for the optimal pilot design. Related to task 2.2
