Evaluation of fuel blend related to marine fuel standards on the basis of analytical results

This report summarizes the results of detailed analytics of all products and the evaluation for their suitability as blending component for marine fuels.

Identification of main contaminants in pyrolysis oils. I

Summary of lab-scale catalyst deactivation study for pyrolysis oil stabilization carried out in Task 3.4. The report will contain information about components added to the feed that cause accelerated deactivation.

Sustainability indicators

D6.2 will define and present a comprehensive framework of sustainability indicators that will be applied for evaluating sustainability impacts of the project. Assessment results based on the indicators will be presented as part of the roadmap on M48.

Model description FCC and extension to Co-FCC

Development of a reaction model suitable to implement in a flowsheet environment which describe an FCC unit. Based on existing models for crude oils conversion models will be extended to the case of co-feeding biobased feedstocks

Ensure the availability of sufficient amounts of sufficient quality oils for both, co-FCC to aviation fuels (WP2) and deoxygenation to marine fuels (WP3).

Production of 200L HPO

Ensure the availability of sufficient amounts of sufficient quality HPO oils for marine fuel testing (WP4).
