The results of these activities have been also the contents for WP4 Second E-Learning Package, which was launched at the end of year 2 as well as for different training events (more than 15) organized in AU and EU
- the current most relevant challenges and barriers to the setup of a green H2 value chain in Africa
- the most relevant actions to be performed to unlock African green H2 potential
- the most relevant actions that EU should put in place to facilitate cooperation with Africa for green H2 economy promotion in both continents
- a list of landfall areas/bridgeheads to be implemented
Generally speaking the project deeply analysed the concept of HYDROGEN HUBS around industrial site as first green hydrogen projects to be promoted in Africa. thanks to sustainable and bankable business cases driven by the local industrial demand.
Such projects can become first lighthouse green hydrogen projects (at 1-5 MW Electrolyser scale) in hard to abate industries to develop a domestic demand at local level starting from their surroundings and develop African skills and experiences in H2, to open the possibility to export projects too
