Deliverables
With the new version of the land surface model ORCHIDEE we will run test simulations over the demostration sites
Guidelines for Community Management at Sub-landscape Level (opens in new window)Guidelines document in order to develop and manage a CoP and the involvement of key actors as member of the CoP.As well as, the document will include the list of contact point of each landscape involved.
Report on Current GHG Modelling Efforts related to C Farming (opens in new window)This document will summarize the existing approaches and how they will be integrated in the ORCHIDEE model
Capability Building Materials for Demonstration Sites v1.0 (opens in new window)The initial version of the delivarable will presente the methodlogical framework fo the capacity building programme, including targets, actions, and timing. Updated regularly for documenting the progress and potential refinements.
Abstracts Compilation of Published Scientific Papers v1.0 (opens in new window)These deliverables will relate the information included in scientific publications developed along the project and derive conclusions useful for the progress of the project. The final update will include the main highlights of the whole project. It will be published with a DOI.
Clustering and Synergies Report v1.0 (opens in new window)This report will include information on joint activities with other related projects (such as NOVASOIL or InBestSoil), like online/offline campaigns, co-publications, and participation in events (workshops, meetings, webinars, etc.).
Report on the Factors Hindering/Enabling Stakeholders’ and Farmers’ Adoption of C Farming (opens in new window)The deliverable will contain the final map of factors hindering/enabling stakeholders and farmers to adopt C Farming in each Region.
Political Framework Analysis (opens in new window)Analysis of the European and International political framework of the public financing tools in the agricultural and forestry sectors aimed at improving soil management towards increased C stocking, analyising also the interaction with the private voluntary carbon market.
Demonstration Site Guidelines v1.0 (opens in new window)These deliverables will include details of the logistics and management in Demonstration Sites. Standard guidelines will be developed to ensure consistency among regions.
Data Reference Framework (opens in new window)This deliverable will present the comprehensive analysis of existing sensors and technologies related to MRV4SOC. It will include also reference dataset of indicators that are critical for MRV, including data of different spatial, temporal and spectral resolutions.
Remote Sensing Data Inventory v1.0 (opens in new window)This task will focus on providing a set of quantitative spatial explicit indicators (e.g., bare soil reflectance composites, physico-chemical soil properties, statistics about soil exposure, etc.) able to support the description of surface state of the differentland uses, with associated uncertainty maps, that can be ingested directly into the bio-geochemical modelling analysis. The task will further build on top of past research done within WORLDSOILS project and it will exploit Copernicus data (Sentinel data) and Copernicus Contributing Missions (EnMAP, DESIS, PRISMA) data. Novel computational intelligence sensors (e.g. UAV, LIDAR) and methodologies will be also deployed to i) directly enhance the AI models; and ii) development of new data product based on a limited number of ground truth data.
This plan describes the data types generated through R&I and demonstrations phases of the project, the plans for sharing/protecting them, storage, back-up, data protection measures, copyright, IPR and the consent-forms handed to the participants of project activities.
A new version of the land surface model ORCHIDEE will be delivered with explicit representation of several key land management processes
