Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

EIT Community Education Cluster covers a compelling range of education programmes that foster innovation and entrepreneurship through the involvement of key stakeholders from industry and academia in developing and delivering novel curricula. To maximise the impact of such educational offerings, EIT Community education activities collectively aim to:

1. Create a sustainable learner lifecycle connecting secondary education to higher education and beyond that imbues the European education ecosystem with innovation and peer-learning.
2. Offer one stop shop access to comprehensive education programmes and services from across all the thematic areas of the different KICs;
3. Provide industry, governments and policy makers with access to deep tech talent, interns and alumni ranging, strengthening innovation, research, and competitiveness in Europe;
4. Support a fair and gender-equal transition towards a greener Europe, empowering talent to emerge regardless of cultural bias.

Engagement with any step of our Learner Lifecycle also pursues the goals laid out in SDG4, leading to sustainable change through education. An innovative learner can begin their journey with EIT Community education as an inventive teenager in our Girls Go Circular program, a visionary Deep Tech Talent pioneer, a higher education student leveraging the EIT Campus, or as an inspiring EIT Alumni who enriches our network with their acquired knowledge and experience.
