Data Management Plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

DATA MANAGEMENT PLAN1. Data SummaryTELOVACCINE is an original research proposal aimed at finding a new strategy to improve vaccine response by fighting immunosenescence through telomeric DNA damage response inhibition. Original data collection will represent the main instrument for the advancement of the project and to achieve its milestones through extensive data analysis. The data will be generated by the equipment used in the project: these are mainly composed by commercially available machinery, run by licensed software. 2.FAIR Data•Making data findableRaw data will be generated by the different equipment and stored in the dedicated folder on the institutional storage server to ensure permanent storage of data. To keep track of the research plan, a personal electronic lab-book will be provided at the host institute. Some raw data will be generated by the software running the specific equipment and, in the case of commercial systems run by licensed software, only the dedicated software can read this type of data. •Making data openly accessibleAll the data analysed and included in future publication will be made accessible by third parts, including the raw data included in pre-print publications. All the remaining data (not part of scientific publication in peer-reviewed journals), will be stored at the home institute (IFOM-ETS) and made available upon official request. All the data generated by TELOVACCINE will be accessible by the most common software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office) or by free-license open-access software (e.g. ImageJ). Some data analysis will be carried out on licensed software (e.g. Graphpad Prism, FlowJo); in these specific case final reports readable by Microsoft Office or open-access equivalent software will be provided. •Making data interoperableThe raw data can be of interest for other researchers or for spin off projects. Most of the data generated will take advantage of pre-determined standard operating procedures, therefore research data will be reproducible and can be used for further research or applications. All the experimental procedures will be described in the associated file on the electronic labbook at the Host Institute (IFOM-ETS) with an appropriate, standard and comprehensible vocabulary to preserve interoperability of the original data.•Increase data re-useThe data will be shared with third parties after approval of the Principle Investigator. The criteria and time period will be determined on a case-by-case basis.3. Allocation of resourcesData FAIR policy is already in place at the Host Institute, which is providing the IT infrastructures and technical support to ensure correct data handling and storage. The researcher and the supervisor will be responsible for the data management of the project. TELOVACCINE will comply with the internal policy. 4. Data SecurityThe data generated by TELOVACCINE will be stored in agreement with the internal regulation for data handling and storage at the host institute.
