Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

Ai For Alpha is a solution based on the latest artificial intelligence techniques to help investment professionals in their management decisions. From our previous experiences in finance, we realised that information flows faster and faster and is sometimes contradictory. It is impossible as a human to analyse all these different signals at the same time to anticipate their impact on the markets. Our vision is that today, in an increasingly complex world, the asset manager needs the machine to outperform his process. This is augmented intelligence. In our view, the machine will not replace the manager, it is a decision-support tool.

We have developed a Deep Learning solution to help managers analyse the impact of a considerable quantity of market data (economic and financial data, changes in prices in commodities, currencies, volatility, credit spreads, etc.). Depending on market conditions, the model helps the manager to anticipate regime changes and adapt to the market environment to determine the best investment timing. The significant advantage of our solution is that the manager can see which market information explains the regime expectations at any time. Unlike other AI models that are often black boxes, the manager here understands the model's decisions and has a better understanding of the market's drivers.

The objective of our proposed work is to scale our solution and offer an online platform to help asset managers and financial professionals understand key drivers of financial markets and build resilient asset allocations.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

We have developed a web platform to industrialize the solution and scale it to a large number of clients. Our objective is to help our clients manage the huge quantity of market information to better decrypt financial markets.

To achieve this, we have developed a SaaS platform for our end users. All clients and prospects can receive a login/password to access our market signal and/or tailor made allocations.

- News Keywords (based on NLP technology)
- New summary based on LLMs (chat gpt)
- Proprietary Stress Indes on financial markets
- Main trends by asset class
- Market classification based on AI clustering methods
- Anticipation of market regime shifts on equity indices

Propsects and clients can also access tailor-made allocations based on the above market signals.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

To promote the platform, we have developed a strong activity on social networks (linked-in) where we now have more than 5,000 followers and organised various webinars with partners such as Bloomberg or consulting firms. We have also developed a marketing strategy to reach prospects via linked-in or emails (lead generation, dedicated messages…).

We have used our prospects database to promote the solution through a test period.
