The EIC Scaling Club has the following 6 objectives
1. Engage a committed network (i.e. the Club) of min. 400 stakeholders (EU-centric) around the scale-ups.
• 100 of the most active investors including venture capital, growth and government funds;
• 100 of the most relevant corporations with their innovation, venturing or development units;
• 100 agencies, clusters and media that promote scale-ups in Member States, regions or sectors, and
• 100 independent mentors with experience and relationships at scale-up board level.
2. Grow annually by 40% the value, new investment, partnerships and jobs of the 100 selected member companies. Develop peer reviewed strategic roadmaps for the market opportunities; and roadmaps for the 10 most important scaling challenges; collective and individual guidance of mentors totalling up to 1600 sessions.
3. Facilitate the financing, partnering and hiring of talent for the companies through a curated roadshow of 24 in-person and online events mobilising over 5,000 contacts.
4. Share the inspirational and success stories of the members and as well the Club’s content to a network of min. 10,000 followers, subscribers or downloading content; the content includes the groups’ highlights, the roadmaps of the 10 scaling challenges and the 10 markets and the ecosystems’ needs.
5. Develop relationships for the members with the key institutions at EU level (EIC, EIB and EIT groups) as well as with policy makers in the Member States (ESNA) and regions around the policy needs for the financing, tech market regulations and ecosystems initiatives for scale-ups through data, roadmaps and events.
6. Nurture and manage the Club’s members, activities, assets and methodologies assessed and adjusted on 6- monthly basis by the Club’s management board and guided by a Club member council.
