Ferrotransmons and Ferrogatemons for Scalable Superconducting Quantum Computers

Deliverables

Dissemination and communication plan (opens in new window)

Training courses will be organized to improve the consortium's capacity for effective scientific communication. For outreach events like conferences, workshops and summer schools we will create presentations and specialized online educational course materials. This deliverable is complementary to deliverable 6.4.

Website and project logo (opens in new window)

In this deliverable we will build a website dedicated to the project and create a logo for the project.

Data management Plan (opens in new window)

We will create a central archive to store all of our publicly available output, such as papers and datasets. This will create a centralized location for all project-related publications (scientific articles, pre-prints, patents or conference proceedings, presentations, etc.), complete with automatically populated structured metadata. This is the plan after 6 months.We also take care of RPX update of the Data Management Plan.

Scaling of high-quality tunnel ferromagnetic Josephson junctions (opens in new window)

We will design and build prototype ferromagnetic tunable Josephson junctions shaping properties and layout in order to integrate the final device in a fully microwave and/or magnetic field pulses driven transmon. Different ferromagnets will be inserted and investigated in tunnel Al-based Josephson junctions, and a complete characterization of the devices will be delivered.

Integration of tunnel ferromagnetic JJs in 2D and 3D microwave waveguides (opens in new window)

2D and 3D microwave waveguides with a ferromagnetic JJ will be realized and fully characterized. Magnetic field pulses drive and RF-drive of the ferromagnetic JJ junctions will be optimized in view of the integration of these devices into a multi-qubit configuration. Modelling of the devices will also be delivered.
