Specifications of the ASTERIx-CAESar prototypes

Summarize results of T1.2. Definition of the technical specifications that must be considered for the testing and validation of the experimental prototypes. The deliverable also addresses security, transport issues and the constraints related to the modification of the already existing H2020 CAPTure facility at PSA.

Optimum low-temperature heat exchanger design (reuse heat of compression)

Design criteria and results of T3.1. This deliverable must clearly address all design challenges related to the low-temperature heat exchanger used for reuse of heat of compression (adiabatic CAES approach). It must benchmark the regenerative approach against the recuperative approach.

Optimum high-temperature heat exchanger design (solar heat input in power cycle)

Design criteria and results of T3.2. This deliverable must clearly address all design challenges related to the high-temperature heat exchanger used for heat input in the power cycle. It must benchmark the regenerative approach against the recuperative approach.
