Circularity and LCA best practises (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This deliverable includes a suggestion of good practices regarding the choice of renovation, reuse or recycling, taking into account several aspects such as hazardous substances, legal frameworks and energy efficiency in the operational phase. LCA will be used on suggested best practice solutions, showing the environmental impact for different choices, including carbon emissions.
Evaluation of existing tools and methods (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Identify decision support tools and evaluate them according to the T1.1 and T1.2 hierarchical list of benefits. Also will be considered the user needs in terms of functionality, user experience gathered by WP3. T1.3 will also identify existing databases of construction products or buildings renovation success stories specialised on historic buildings. The pertinence and trustworthiness of those databases will be evaluated.
Regulation and standard informed repository (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)A clear listing of regulations and standards focusing on the 4 use-cases will be established along with an assessment against the values set out in 1.1 and 1.2. Study of conflicts between heritage regulation and energy regulation is highlighted.
Cost efficiency best practises (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)First the scope of the deliverable will be refined to determine what type of practises to target. For example, not only intervention, but also preventive maintenance will also be considered. The planning of intervention in relation to the building occupation during the intervention will also be considered. Then the deliverable will collect and analyse data on the identified good practises (this can include reviewing the existing literature, conducting interviews or surveys and analysing case studies).
Refine scenario of demonstration activities on the 4 use-cases (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The specificities of each use-case are taken into account while proposing a homogeneous global approach for testing the tools developed by CALECHE.
Methodology of the participatory processes and results of the co-design workshops (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)A first phase of internal online workshops with project partners will be conducted to collect their feedback, perspectives and recommendations detailed requirements for their respective tasks (T1.2, T4.2, T4.5, T5.5, T6.3, T6.5, T7.3) in relation to stakeholder engagement based on their experience with previous refurbishment projects.
