Combler le fossé entre la science et la politique
Le projet DiReCT-GC, financé par le programme MSCA, vise à renforcer le lien entre la recherche scientifique et l’élaboration de politiques efficaces. Organisée par la Fondation espagnole pour la science et la technologie (FECYT) au nom du ministère espagnol de la science et de l’innovation (MCIN), la conférence MSCA se tiendra à Tolède en novembre 2023. Cet événement mettra en lumière les contributions du programme Actions Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) à la résolution des problèmes mondiaux d’un point de vue local et global. La conférence se penchera sur l’avenir des carrières de recherche diversifiées et inclusives, en mettant l’accent sur leur rôle dans la prise de décisions politiques fondées sur des données probantes. Des débats interactifs fourniront des informations précieuses pour l’élaboration du programme de travail 2025-2027.
Objectif
The project MSCA DiReCT-GC (DIverse REsearch Careers to Tackle Global Challenges) aims at organizing the MSCA conference with the overarching objective of fostering the connection between science and policy making to better address societal challenges. The event, organised by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MCIN) will be held November 14th and 15th 2023 in the city of Toledo, in the University of Castilla-La-Mancha (UCLM) premises.
With the aim of raising the visibility of MSCA and establishing a link with the policy agenda, the conference will address ongoing initiatives in the realm of science for policy, the contributions of MSCA to societal challenges from a global perspective to a local impact, and the future of diverse and inclusive research careers, including professional paths to support evidence-based policy making. The event will also offer enough space for interactive debates on the MSCA main features with the aim of contributing to the upcoming 2025-2027 Work Programme. Finally, a recognition of the MSCA best projects in terms of science for policy contributions will be present in the MSCA Awards Ceremony.
