Online training of facilitators Report

Collection of training material. It will include training, instructions and material developed by the team and provided to facilitators prior to the model Assemblies.

Report on the practical management of the model Assemblies

This will explain the practical details of the pilot Citizens’ Assemblies (e.g. the method and topic of deliberation).

Promotion Activities - Media Reports

This will ensure the active presence of the project on social media and the production of promotional and informational material.

Report on the models’ design

This Report will set out the three models that will be piloted in WP4, and the design choices for each of them.

Development of the Framework for the Design of a Citizens’ Assembly

This deliverable will finalise the framework that will constitute the basis for the empirical evaluation of the qualities present in Citizens’ Assemblies at the local, national, and EU level. It will ensure standardisation across all empirical research tasks throughout the project, and it will enable benchmarking between the different mini-publics under investigation.

Communication Plan

The Plan will specify the actions, deliverables and budget, relevant milestones and timeline of activities, as well as the communication objectives of the project and the evaluation process. It will include the communication strategy of the project to be used by all partners.

Report on the effectiveness of the existing Citizens’ Assemblies against the normative framework developed in WP2

This deliverable will include the analysis of the empirical data collected under this Work Package and the evaluation of the selected Citizens’ Assemblies.

EU-CIEMBLY Experts’ Workshop Conference 1 REPORT

Report on the EU-CIEMBLY Experts’ Workshop Conference 1 in Essex to disseminate, communicate and discuss partial findings, resulting in an edited volume for an academic journal.

Policy Scoping Review

Scoping Review report/article to identify policy gaps regarding intersectionality and democratic participation to inform future Policy recommendations in WP5.

Interim Report on the project’s analytical and normative framework

This will set out the analytical framework for the project, including working definitions of key concepts, that will be used by all WPs throughout the project to ensure consistency and validity of findings.

Bibliographic Map

An interdisciplinary mapping of the most relevant primary and secondary sources on democratic participation and intersectionality under EU law.

Report drawn from the activity within the forums

This will report on the presentations and dialogues held with the participants of the two policy-makers forums.
