Deliverables
Report to the laboratories on the results of the proficiency test for the biomarker analysis and the performance of the participating laboratories during the test.
Optimised method for proteomics analysis (opens in new window)Production of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which will describe the optimised approach for the application of proteomics-based biodiversity assessment in marine ecosystems.
Case study 1. Relationship between chemical contaminants in European coastal sediments and benthic diversity (opens in new window)Reporting of the results of the sampling campaigns connected to the case study 1. Relationship between chemical contaminants in European coastal sediments and benthic diversity, connected with Traversing European Coastlines (TREC) project.
Biological effects guidelines for contaminants of emerging concern in the marine environment (opens in new window)Guidelines describing optimised and/or new methodologies for measuring the biological effects of contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) as part of a recommended approach for biological effects monitoring and toxicity assessment in the marine environment.
Initial Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication plan (DECP) (opens in new window)Initial Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Plan (DECP) with detailed information on dissemination, exploitation and communication activities planned during the project, how they will be implemented and how they will contribute to maximise the project impact, as well as progress reports.
Optimised method for environmental DNA (eDNA) analysis (opens in new window)Production of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which will describe the optimised approach for eDNA analysis to identify bacteria and meiofauna marine sediment communities.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for biological and chemical sampling (opens in new window)Optimised Standard operating procedures (SOP) for sampling harmonisation of biological tissue from marine organisms for selected biological and chemical analysis
Webpage of the project
Educational website: A New Formula (opens in new window)Webpage with education tools aimed at the general public. To inform the general public and particularly the younger generation on the potential dangers of chemicals in the home and the environment and advise on simple ways to reduce the use of toxic chemicals.
Initial description of the expected data, storage, management and sharing strategy, following the FAIR principle and accounting for the activities planned for the project.
The deliverable will be the source code documentation that will be shared through Github. This source code is used from the transformation model applied to the model the transport and fate of CECs as stated in the table.
Chemical prioritisation scheme (opens in new window)Add-on tool on existing contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) prioritisation scheme. This will be a parameterised box model to predict the fate of selected CECs in the marine environment.
This will be a dataset containing a large suspect screening library, which will cover a wide range of relevant contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) and their transformation products.
