This deliverable will tackle the issues associated with an ethical and gender neutral approach to the action research to be performed in the project, in line with the contents of the relevant Part B sections. The project has received full clearance after the ethics audit, thus no further requirements will be considered.
Establishing a Greening Cities baseline (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)D4.2 Establishing a Greening Cities baseline. Output of Task 4.2 (TCD, M12).This deliverable will describe the establishment of the reflexive monitoring baseline in each city. Drawing on the outcomes of the face-to-face workshops and subsequent bespoke support to each city, as well as a deep-dive exploration of the current status of UNPplus steps and categorization of historical challenges, the baseline will include the initial critical turning points and challenges in relation to UNPplus implementation processes. The report will guide cities towards the potential of current and novel evaluation tools and reported approaches in their relevance, use and validity. The relevance of the tools will include engaging citizens and relevant stakeholders in order to identify win-win opportunities and areas in need of capacity-building.

The first edition of this deliverable will outline targets and goals of communication efforts, KPIs, target audiences, visual identity guidelines, communication and dissemination channels, clustering opportunities, key messages and timelines. The Plan will be updated in M18.

The second edition of this deliverable will report about the achievements of communication and dissemination during the first project half. It will also set a special focus, based on the early stage results, on the current and future exploitation potentials, any emerging IPR issues, the initial partner plans, and the joint initiatives possibly envisaged. This part of the document concerning exploitation will be significantly updated and improved in M36 as D6.3.

The first policy brief of this series of four will systematize the work carried out during the first project period on key themes and priorities for urban renaturing and multi-scale governance.
