SOLar-driven INDustrial power And heat upgRaded with hIgh-temperature heaT pumps for enhanced integrated process efficiencY

Periodic Reporting for period 1 - SOLINDARITY (SOLar-driven INDustrial power And heat upgRaded with hIgh-temperature heaT pumps for enhanced integrated process efficiencY)

Período documentado: 2024-01-01 hasta 2025-04-30

ASCORI’s main fields of activity are the planning, documentation and commissioning of energy technology systems as well as the programming of control systems and visualisations to implement automation technology requirements. In addition, tests, measurements and analyses are carried out in the company’s own laboratory or on customer systems on site. In the field of automation technology, ASCORI develops and programs control systems, controllers, visualisations and process control technology. The company supports customers in the planning, documentation and commissioning of conveyor and process technology systems.

Customers include companies in the automotive, aviation and aerospace industries as well as foundries, food manufacturers and chemical companies.

ASCORI carries out grid and fault analyses, primary and secondary electrical tests in transformer stations, power plants, grid connection systems and HV switchgear, measurements of earthing and lightning protection systems as well as transformer and insulation tests. Planning, documentation and commissioning of all types of energy systems – high, medium and low-voltage switchgear, electrical infrastructure systems or cable, earthing and lightning protection systems are also part of our range of services. Grid and short-circuit, load flow and protection parameter calculations or selectivity analyses are just as much a part of our services as the correct dimensioning of electrical equipment and building installations.

Role in SOLINDARITY:

Implementation of a higher-level control and visualisation system for the components including the high-temperature heat pumps at all three demo sites (LOR, KOM, ART), provision of measurement data for dashboard and scientific analysis
Due to the simultaneous execution of the detailed planning of the technology partners and the planning of the control technology, certain information is only available in the run-up to the period. In preparation for the implementation of the control technology to be carried out, technical specifications were discussed in bilateral talks with the technology partners, interfaces were discussed and the necessary practicability determined. It was summarized in technical profile sheets.

The electrical consumption was specified for one of the demo locations as a typical, the cable lengths were determined and a single-line drawing with cable dimensioning was created from this. This is used to determine whether the electrical supply can be guaranteed by the demo sites or whether additional capacity needs to be created.

The SEHUS control cabinet with HMI control panel was planned electrically as a sample and a CAD drawing was produced.
A basic architecture for data communication between the demo sites, server-based data storage and cloud-based data analysis was drafted.
