Project Website (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

In order to build awareness around the project, to disseminate results and exploit those results after the project is completed, a website will be created.

Co-design intervention report (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

A report of the outcomes from the co-design (with adolescent changemakers and other key stakeholders (schools, healthcare workers, community members, urban planners)) of a multi-component sustainable health intervention that will be adapted for each of the three settings.

Coordination protocol (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

The coordination will include advocacy and coordination for healthy food including a multiple-needs concept, usage of a gender lens, and the perspective of leveraging existing opportunities for integration. The coordination task will include the systematic mapping and analysis of nutrition educational material targeting both adolescent and community. The different sites will be tasked to collect existing nutrition education materials and use one of its multi-stakeholder workshops to identify which type of information is lacking and what strategies and education materials should still be developed in accordance with the education requirements for each site during the co-design workshop in WP3. The material and related trainings will include urban farming as per the different WPs and sites. This is to increase demand for adolescent and community specific nutrition education strategies. The sub-tasks will to i) create an internal mechanism to bring the multi-actor group together; ii) to set-up the mechanisms and tools of sharing and coordinating and iii) develop mechanisms and frameworks to instill multiple needs thinking and holistic transdisciplinary approaches towards the multiple needs of the target groups.

Dissemination and exploitation plan (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

We will develop a comprehensive dissemination plan which will outline key messages, audiences and appropriate communication channels. This plan will later be adapted across sites and will be tailored based on their respective social, cultural and regional context. We will develop materials in popular science language to distribute among the public to keep all local stakeholders and nonacademic actors informed and engaged. Presentations, seminars and workshops will be kept open for everyone to attend as much as possible. Will lead the development of social media engagement strategies that will align with broader dissemination plans.AAPH together with KI, UKHD, FSPN and the implementing partners will design capacity building activities among adolescents by providing training on advocacy strategies and utilization of social media and other communication channels to disseminate research evidence and related interventions.

Implementation manual (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

Through key informant interviews as well as review of grey literature, we will identify key factors for successful implementation based on the PRISMA framework. We will conduct a series of implementation workshops that will align with the Normalization Process Theory (NPT), to develop and test the implementation strategies. During the first workshop, we will operationalize the intervention and implementation framework to the school context (NPT Coherence). In the second workshop, we will elicit perceptions on opportunities and challenges in delivering the intervention in the school context, as well as problem solve on ways to address the challenges and engage the whole school community (NPT Cognitive Participation). The third workshop will focus on implementation strategies and ensuring the fidelity of intervention delivery, uptake of intervention activities by the school system, and coverage of and participation in intervention activities by the school community with definition of roles and responsibilities as well as needs for training and capacity building (NPT Collective Action). The fourth workshop (NPT Reflexive Monitoring) will unpack the perceived impact of the intervention and implementation activities. Based on the workshop output, contextualized implementation manuals will be developed.

Ethics application submitted (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

•KI and UKHD will jointly ensure that all relevant policies and guidelines (including ethical guidelines) are followed, with KI ensuring this from a wider perspective, such as EU research guidelines, and UKHD will be responsible for ensuring compliance to local ethical guidelines and research policies at all study sites, particularly in the implementation stage of the project.•The preparation of reports (e.g., to the European Commission) will be undertaken by KI and coordinate the delivery of such progress reports, to collate the overall reports and to deliver the reports on time.

Data management plan and standard operating procedures drafted (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)

A data management plan will be jointly created by KI and UKHD to ensure secure handling of data. This plan will adhere to all regulations of stakeholders and partners involved, including the EU GDPR. All partners will be required to sign data sharing agreements.
