Funding opportunities for RD&I and deployment activities at the European level

Report describing RD&I funding opportunities and deployment to accelerate the transition to zero-emission and smart IWT. As a start it will present information from previous projects (e.g. PLATINA3, STEERER, LASTING). The deliverable provides an updated and in-depth picture of the funding opportunities offered by EU programmes and financing instruments.

TCO and economic scenario analysis

Report describing financial and economic scenario analysis. This report presents the results of Task 4.2. It presents the assessment of the business case for selected good practices and initiatives from the stocktaking overview made in Task 4.1. The deliverable will present the benefits and potential of a break through and will present the relation to policy intervention and financial support in order to enable a break through for selected good practices and initiatives.

Requirements, barriers and opportunities for industry support

This deliverable presents the findings from Task 4.3. It describes the requirements, barriers and opportunities for industry support to accelerate the transition to zero-emission and smart IWT. This will be based on in-depth discussions with frontrunners involved in break through concepts and with a broader group of prospects in the industry. The deliverable will focus on presenting the viewpoints and insights from vessel owners and operators as well as from technology and energy suppliers. Clear conclusions will be presented on the conditions which are needed to reach large scale implementation.

Definition of KPIs of the DT and different scenarios

Report giving the conclusions on the KPIs and scenarios for the DT. This report presents the results and findings of Task 2.1. It presents a clear picture on the main KPIs to capture the impact of the NAIADES III actions and presents the defined baseline scenario as well as the defined policy target scenario.

State of play and requirements for the label for inland vessels

This deliverable reports in the findings of Tasks 3.1 and 3.2. It presents the updated state-of-play taking into account the latest policy and research developments which are relevant for the label for vessels on EU waterways. It will also present the objectives, requirements and boundaries. Based also on consultation and interaction with stakeholders, the overarching purpose and key objectives will be presented as well as conclusions on priority policy objectives and related KPIs.

Digital Twin of IWT sector

Report describing the digital twin developed in WP 2. This report presents the work of Task 2.2 concerning the buidling of the digital twin. It concerns the conversion of NAIADES III actions into quantitative and qualitative data and structuring the data. It also concerns the presentation of the modelling workd based on the data and the weighing and normalizing of output parameters via multi criteria analysis and output development.

Stocktaking and good practices

Report describing good practices and initatives in deployment and roll-out of innovative technologies with a focus on achieving a break through of zero-emission technologies and digital solutions for connected systems. This deliverable presents the results of Task 4.1. The focus of the deliverable will be on innovations for new build vessels to complement SYNERGETICS which does focus on retrofit solutions for the existing fleet in terms of energy and emission reduction. It will present a systematic description with overviews on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) with attention to the key succes and fail factors.
